Yup. I always feel the importance of coordinators is overblown. I mean do we really think you can take the best DC (or OC) throw them on the Jags and all of a sudden they’re a top ten defense?It’s all about talent on the field.

Someone needs to get McDermott and Frazier in a room and force them to watch game film on:

The Bucs game
The Titans game
The Colts game and 
The Chiefs game

Then describe how they will CHANGE the defense to win those games.   

(One thing Beane has leaned towards is later round DBs.    Dane Jackson, 7th round pick.   Levi Wallace, undrafted.   Look out, Taron Johnson was a 4th round pick.   Yes, nice value, but a strong #2 would be nice)
