Yup…their defense is loaded….with 1 first rounder…that they didn’t even draft…Eli Apple from the giants.

Other than that a shit ton of 3rd, 4th, and 5th rounders..shit one of their starting linebackers is a 7th rounder lol….a couple second rounders in the secondary….

Their big money picks…fucking offense.

And that begs the question….if they can do it with nobodies than what the FUCK does that say about our coaching staff, GM, and scouts?

What the hell are you talking about?  Sorry man…I agree with a lot of your stuff but if anything, the bengals load up on offense and the bills are the ones throwing everything to the defense.

(this isnt necessarily directed at you, but at Sean's zombie army in general)

Everything....so you mean only last year counts? How about trading the 1st PLUS extra picks for 1 WR the previous year? (who happens to be the guy I was advocating for when there were mid season rumors the season before that, by the way).

Anyhow, I am just trying to establish the parameters so I know how to respond to these non stop tantrums.  The Bills scored 36 points vs KC, and had the 1st perfect game in NFL history 2 weeks ago.  How much better of an offense do we need?  Clearly the defense is what was lacking.  The DL has some young players who are trending upwards and logic says they will continue to.  There were numerous times where they barely missed sacks on Mahomes, and maybe next year those become sacks more often than not.

And lload up on offense?  Do none of you consider their OL, or has nobody seen them before today?  In comparison, especially with the emergence of "Rick"(Bates), our OL actually looks decent, though the Bengals OL surprisingly manages to do their job this time.  I think the last game they gave up NINE sacks. Anyhow, I'm just not sure what exactly folks want, especially Sean.

Andy did you hear about this one?-REM . "I don't think I'm easy to talk about. I've got a very irregular head. And I'm not anything that you think I am anyway". -Syd Barrett, founder of Pink Floyd. And heck, even this season they got a guy who looks capable of being a long term starting tackle, who may turn out to be as valuable as a tackle typically taken in the 1st round if his ceiling is what I think it might be.

As Sean himself points out, the draft isn't everything either.  There's free agency, Jim Overpay(dorf) is NO LONGER doing the contracts and is now been put in an advisory role.  I think that is SIGNIFICANT.  Further, there are trades.  Beane managed to get a pick for LEE SMITH of all people, so he can work magic on occasion.

I wouldn't mind seeing what they can het for Edmunds as part of a package.  He's not playing in his natural position or a system that allows him to play to his potential, so I think another team would be better for all parties involved.  Finding a linebacker more suited to that position and system is one of the more important moves the team could make, in my opinion.  I'd be shocked if there isn't a team out there that could much better utilize Edmunds' talents.  Of course some might get ticked at that, because it might lead to the drafting of a linebacker. lol

Exactly…and if that’s the case the Bills are fucked.

Well, if we were to go with much of this board's evaluation of Josh Allen, I'd say you're more ****ed than the Bills.  With some people, he was still getting ragged on this season, and didn't get them to simmer down until maybe the last 2 games.  But other players some feel comfortable calling busts after 1 or 2 seasons(heck, some before half of their first season!!)....  Heck, even Lynch kind of seemed bust-esque(compared to expectations), until he left the Bills and seem as different as Pacman did after he ate a power pellet.  Same with Teller and a list of players and staff that is not short.  I'd laugh if Nate Hackett does better in Denver than Vic Fangio, and somehow manages to outduel Josh McDaniel's and the Raiders.  I might even laugh if he beats the Bills sometime, for the reaction some on here would have.  :)

Moast(all?) of us make great calls....but we don't put the terrible calls we made in our signature to balance them out....and we honestly likely don't remember most of the calls we make, or at least those who are making hot takes at a prolific rate....especially in the shoutbox where they don't seem as easy to retrieve from the archive.  I actually give you credit, because unlike some of the shoutbox cowards, you also have the lack of shame to post a decent percentage of that bile here, unlike the cheaper versions of you on here.

Man, I'm just trying to help you see you gave much to be grateful for.  I want a Super Bowl like anyone, and the team already seems capable given the right circumstances.  To repeat what others have agreed with in the sh*tbox..... The KC team that played today was not the KC of last week, whom it looked like we had beat when they were at their best.  It seems like some folks think we can just demand the same things NE had with 2 GOATS, an owner who gets LAWS(well, executive orders) signed in his presence and videos/awards from the country his dual citizenship has deeper loyalty to, and who knows what else you aren't privy to.  Heck, one of the GOATS actually took a contract below market rate to help make the team stronger.  How often will any team have ALL OF THOSE FACTORS going for them?  Even with that, they cheated in at least 2 ways.  I don't know if Bills fans can feel that sense of ENTITLEMENT(of course, I'm assuming it with Pats fans, but I am actually SEEING it here, not to mention assholes booing a 2nd team all pro selection).

Speaking of goats....REMINDER, 1 GOAT WANTED TO DITCH THE OTHER GOAT in favor of.......Jimmy Garrapolo, until Emperor Kraft intervened.  Even the alleged best can make horrible mistakes.

Maybe he'll be the dan Marino?

Wouldn’t that be fucking hilarious/amazing? That Mahomes would never win another super bowl again?

And here is Nick Wright and Colin cowherd saying the Bills window to go to a Super Bowl has been shut. Because we are losing Daboll.

Maybe these fucks needs to rethink shit lol

The Bengals sacked Mahomes 4 times.   Picked him off twice.   Contained and pressured him.

Mahomes threw for 236 against the Bengals.

Mahomes threw for 390 against the Bills.   Bills got zero picks.

Doesn't matter how much the Bills spent on defense, the Bengals defense was more effective.    Good for them.  The Bengals fans deserve some good fortune.

Bills in 2022!

I want to take exception with the thread. In the second quarter the Bills went to a ball control approach. Three straight Singletary runs then a punt. That was an attempt to slow the game down. Limit Mahomes possession, play defense. What you dedication the whole offseason towards. The problem was that your defense was a no-show and before you knew it, it was 23-14 and you had no choice but get into a shoot out. How big would it have been if you didn’t take your foot off the gas and forfeit a possession?

McDermott started coaching DBs in 2002

Frazier started coaching DBs in 1997

Between the two of them you have over 40 years of defensive coaching.

And what did the game come down to? Incompetent defensive coaching.

And that’s McDermott for ya. That’s his plan. That’s his idea of winning football games. That’s why the rumors of in fighting between him and Daboll. Daboll WANTS to air it out, wants to run and gun, wants to rack up points.

Im worried that whoever our new OC is…will be bullied by McD into being more conservative and ball controlled.
