Meathead Posted January 28, 2021 Share Posted January 28, 2021 just as a reminder, poster stalking is strictly prohibited on this board. if you are following around a poster just to harass and annoy them then you are in violation of policy quite frankly, i cant tell for sure bc i dont see all the posts and cant tell content from a list of notifications, but it looks like its going on both ways to some degree between you two. but if either of you can show a pattern of illogical, unnecessary, and/or abusive/insulting posts directed at one person with no redeeming value and occuring on a regular basis, then the stalker will be subject to warnings and increasingly long time-outs. bowman, you have already been warned once so you would get a 2-week time out right away, keep that in mind and there are claims of rep stalking, where neg reps are being given for no logical reason but to harass and annoy. i dont like the idea of having to make rep stalking against policy bc that should be the prerogative of the posters, but if someone is abusing it then i will have no choice to handle it the same way as poster stalking if you feel someone is stalking you with either method, make a post in the technical support forum indicating which type of stalking you think is happening. dont mix post stalking and rep stalking, make a separate thread if you think both are going on and title the thread as such. list those actions you consider harassment or stalking. the less logical the reason for the reply/rep the better for your case. make it easy for me to review, copy the quoted posts and paste them into your tech support thread. you should also be able to provide a list of your notifications like Hip did by right clicking on the bell and selecting 'open in new window'. highlight all the contiguous entries you want to include and drag them into your complaint thread. i havent tried this yet, but it might even allow me to click on your notifications and go to the posts in question. but i still want you to copy posts you consider eligible as evidence, dont just provide the notifications list as it only provides a piece of potentially corroborating evidence, the actual posts are what matters most if i determine stalking is occurring, and it should be obvious, then you will be subject to a warning point (so you can remember what you did, bad dog) and increasing time-outs if you continue. i didnt give bowman a point his first warning but im going to include them from now on so that its there and you (and everyone else) see it and you remember why you got it even easier would be for you to put each other on ignore and move on with your lives, but hardly nobody listens to that so taking the strap to you appears necessary Quote One set of rules for all in The Beloved Community "The word racism is like ketchup.
