I'd give it to the polio vaccine first....but probably more to the development of Crispr.  If you haven't watched it, The Human Nature on Netflix is an exceptional show.

If things go well, we can expect an additional 50M doses available by January. And then an additional 60M by February or March.

That is a total of 150 doses. So, 75M individuals vaccinated, possibly by or before the end of March. Various things I have read tend to concur, we could have a quarter or more of the US population vaccinated by March/April.

By April/May the vaccine is expected, by many, to be widely available.

Yourself and all those people can thank President Trump if it is a success.

Considering the scientific community was well into looking for a vaccine while the President was calling it a hoax, I’ll thanks those people and others who did the heavy lifting.
