You are missing the point entirely.

Yes, grocery stores wont go where there are poor people or chance for theft. But that is late capitalism for you, "lifting people out of poverty" by letting people eat themselves to death on shitty food. but that is another thread all on its own.

But the argument isn't about WHY there are food deserts, the argument is the fact that THERE ARE food deserts. So 13.5 million people who have very little money or transportation must eat shitty food to survive. This is a problem when it comes to comorbidity. This is why black people, who tend to be poor, have higher rates of heart disease and diabetes.

I think that you don't like black people because you say ignorant shit. and often. It also aligns with things that race realists/racists say. AKA "just keeping it real dawg"

There’s two things to be addressed with this post. I’ll respond to the second one first. That I don’t like black people because I say “ignorant shit”. What is ignorant?. (Please don’t mistake my “black speak” as “he hate me” shit. It makes YOU look stupid). 

I gone into much detail in past posts of my personal experience, you’ve chosen not to. That’s fine. You’re a pie chart/stats man. I get it. Nobody that knows me think I’m a racist. And I am a realist. There are food deserts because grocery chains won’t put stores in ghettoes, loss prevention costs would be high, theft would be high, and I’m guessing there would be complains and law suits over extra scrutiny on the patrons. It’s a lose/lose situation for them. If you think the why is not important, or it’s someone else’s fault, I guess I’ll agree to disagree.

Stores could open in low income areas if they'd stop being pussys and spend a few dollars on proper security. If someone would get the ball rolling and people who live in these areas saw results, they'd start policing themselves. It's hard to have pride in anything when you're made to feel like you don't deserve it

it is not relevant to this discussion at all. the pandemic happened and food deserts exist.

You are arguing why there are holes in the roof while its raining, and I'm telling you it doesn't matter why the holes are there right now, we are both still getting wet.
