  1. I actually had no expectations for the Biden administration. I called this before the election. I said we would go back to the status quo. Biden said "nothing will fundamentally change." Biden is a speed bump as we head towards fascism, especially if trump and his orbit are not held accountable for their actions.

  3. Probably. The GOP is obstructing the voting rights bill (among others), ramping up gerrymandering, and using voter suppression tactics. Combine that with obstruction from within the democratic party itself, it could be a blood bath. At this point if the Jan6 committee recommends the DOJ prosecute trump and his minions-but does absolutely nothing, democrats will not turn out to vote.

  4. 1. So millions of people are just working for minimum wage because they are choosing to not make something of themselves? Lol 2. Young people are told they need to go to college to get a good job or they will be working minimum wage. On average people with a bachelor's make more money in their lifetime compared to only high school educated. College costs wayyyy more now in relation to what it did 30 years ago. Its not even close. So it's get in debt or live on a minimum wage all your life. Trade schools still leave many in debt, and not everyone has the aptitude to work with their hands. If you actually cared about the economy, eliminating student debt would jump start the economy. More people could afford things like houses, cars, childcare, etc. 3. Obama care was taken from right wing think tanks. It's literally a GOP gift to the Healthcare industry. It's a problem both sides perpetuate. 4. That study came from a John's Hopkins professor in economics, who also belongs to the Cato Institute. A libertarian think tank. It's not a study that John's Hopkins set out to conduct. It's not peer reviewed and it used a very narrow scope to reach its conclusions. It didn't include the many countries where lockdowns were very successful. This is such a bullshit point. But of course you didn't actually look into it. You just went with the headlines from right wing media. 5. There is so much evidence for voter suppression that to believe otherwise is equivalent to walking around with your head up your ass. States have been removing ballot boxes, purging voter roles, and not accepting signatures on ballots for no reason. This can be demonstrated. You have no evidence of a massive amount of voter fraud or illegal votes. This country has a long history of suppressing voters. 6. Start by expunging records and release people convicted of non violent drug offenses. End the war on drugs and decriminalize them. This ends the cycle of people going in and out of jail in poor neighborhoods. Those neighborhoods that you care so much for. We do not do enough to prevent recidivism. There should be more programs to help felons re-enter society- such as job training, housing, and rehab. Or the US can watch its prison population continue to rise. Which is about 5-10 times higher than most western democracies. People fail to realize violent crime has been on the decline for decades and yet prison populations continue to rise. It's almost like for profit prisons have an incentive to put people in jail.. I really appreciate your response. It's always interesting to look into the mind of a complete moron who is out of touch with reality. It's not easy to be wrong on just about everything. It takes years of grooming by conservative media to brainwash their viewers. But it's been very successful at manipulating people who are triggered by fear of pretty much everything.

  7. 1. Low wages - I won't argue this one too much, but I will say that we are a land of opportunity, and you can make something of yourself no matter who you are. This is fact. 2. Student debt - If you are miserable because of your student debt, then that's your own dumbass fault. Nobody forced you to take out a loan for something you couldn't afford to pay back. Self accountability is what's needed here...not to blame a political party. 3. Healthcare has been an issue for a long time. Dems did nothing too but make it worse, so that is a non partisan thing. 4. Everything is going up...including childcare. If we didn't shut down the country like the John Hopkins University study showed we shouldn't have, then we wouldn't be going through anywhere near the inflation and supply chain problems we have now. Blame China for the virus, and then blame Dems for making it worse with bad policies. 5. Voter suppression- LOL. This is the dumbest one of all. First off...we just had the most votes ever in 2020 if you wanna believe the numbers, and you claim that Pedo Joe won, so what's the beef here? There is none if you are a Liberal/Democrat. I would argue that the real issue is illegal votes suppressing the legal votes, but that only hurts the Republican party, so no problem there. Moving on 6. Over populated prisons - How do you suggest that one gets fixed? Let me guess...more lax laws that enable scumbags to get away with even more crimes? Less prison time so they can go right back out and hurt more people and destroy more lives? Oh...that's right, so many in the prison system are just drug abusers and should be receiving help instead, right? Don't do the crime if you don't wanna do the time, fuckos! America was headed in the right direction before China released the virus and Dems decided to go full nazi on the people while pushing racism, division, and the looting and burning of cities while screaming to defund the police. Now they are reaping the rewards for their disgusting behavior. They deserve everything that comes their way

  9. Hip should get a kick out of this. Sam Brinton is an MIT graduate who is both a queer activist and a specialist in handling nuclear waste. And he is the Biden Administration’s latest hire at the Department of Energy as the Spent Fuel and Waste Disposition Deputy. What a colorful life Deputy Brinton has. He is a “pup handler” — that is, a gay man who leads other gay men who pretend to be dogs. What’s that all about? Let this profile in Metro Weekly fill you in. Excerpts: More: The Biden Administration’s newest nuclear waste deputy would like the world to know that back then, his boyfriend could still pretend to be a dog when he sodomized the lad. Can you believe that some people think that’s weird? More: Read it all. It’s important to note that Sam Brinton has not been outed here. For years he has been up front about his kinks, for which he has advocated, in part as head of governmental relations for The Trevor Project. Here he is instructing people about the importance of pronoun usage: He has worked his way up through the progressive establishment. This is what it means to have Democratic Party governance now: a freak show. None of those people recognize it as a freak show. Appointing to the federal government’s nuclear management agency a weirdo who puts his wing-wang up the rear end of men who pretend to be dogs, and brags about it to the media, is just another day of celebrating Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion™. But yes, by all means, let’s us Americans lecture the rest of the world on how backwards they are. Not like us in Weimar America. I suppose America has always had its freaks, including its sexual freaks, but in our progressive paradise, they now they get to run the government. This is who they are. This is who they admire. This is who they are trying to teach our children to be. LINK

  10. I'm sure one of the Range Leftists will debonk these MSNBC traitors! Ball Gag? F8? Frawk? Piggy? Spiked? Dire? ::crickets:: ::shotgun blast sounds in the distance:: Biden Economics Has Hit MSNBC Hard, Progressive Panel Now Admits Inflation Bad and “Will Get Worse” When the Biden administration loses MSNBC, you know the White House is realizing this is going to crush them. In an unusual MSNBC discussion, the regime stenography panel admits that not only is inflation bad now, but it is likely to get much, much worse. Just watch the first three minutes to recognize the scale of how the economic situation in the U.S. is being accepted by the water-carrying media. “The problem we have here is a series of events that have led to higher prices,” says Liesman. “I am afraid this number is bad and could get worse.” Keep in mind, most Americans have no idea what 15% inflation and rising interest rates looks like. The Gen-x generation saw everything as it was growing, and the millennial generation has no reference point for thrift prioritization, actual rationing and sustainability on a level where you have to make your own durable goods and foodstuffs. How many know how to cook, let alone sustain themselves financially. Yes, things are bad now, but almost every person in the progressive, leftist, occupy, Antifa side of the political divide have no concept of what is about to happen. It is going to be really interesting to watch how the 20- to 40-year-old age groups respond to a new era of economic scarcity and home gardening. The ideological Obama crew have really pushed Joe Biden into the furnace.

  12. I also appreciate getting those glimpses from someone who has let Bernie and AOC help form their opinions which are completely awful and don't do anything to fix America as it's currently constructed. All around the globe people are revolting over the way these countries and their so called leaders have operated, and it's been Democrats and dumbass libs who have been in lockstep with those global elites and goverments worldwide. You guys once thought you were the rEsIsTaNcE and fighting for the rights of people, but you let Covid and Donald Trump mentally break you and you all sided with these radical people that want to strip us all of our rights and freedoms. Even now, you'll battle each and every one of us on things that at one time you would have been at least not totally against...maybe even for, except now you cannot because it is backed by conservatives/Trump supporters, and the lefts narrative/brainwashing says you must oppose at any and all cost...logic, critical thought, and plain old human decency be dammed. This last year and the ones to come will confirm that it was conservatives and the four years under Trump that were the best years for this country in a long time, and that if things were still being run by those America first conservatives, we would all be enjoying success and prosperity on a level not seen since who knows when. Every day under the rule of these idiots proves myself more and more right and the left more and more wrong. Keep posting and taking these L's. They will only become more obvious and harder to ignore/dismiss

  21. Spot on, the author nails all of the reasons and backs his take up with stats. Well done. Why are liberals so miserable? I’m the kind of guy, who never used to cry, the world is treatin’ me bad. Misery — The Beatles Replacing former President Donald Trump with President Joe Biden was supposed to bring joy to the land from sea to sea. We were going to be a united people at last. Every problem known to man would get solved by cradle-to-grave government. Biden was even going to save us from the rise of the oceans. But just the opposite: A survey by the University of Chicago found that record percentages of people in 2021 described themselves as “unhappy.” For most of the past 50 years, about 1 in 10 people have described themselves as unhappy. In 2021, 1 in 4 say they are unhappy. Typically, almost 1 in 3 say they are “very happy,” and now less than 1 in 5 do. The happiness index is falling like a stone. People are depressed. Gee, I wonder why the public is so glum all of a sudden. Let me count the ways. First, there is isolation and loneliness from lockdowns, stay-at-home orders and travel restrictions. Then there is out-of-control crime and a significant rise in business failures (from lockdowns), both clearly associated with depression. People are still worried about their health two years into the pandemic that Biden promised to shut down. The border is out of control. Then there is the financial stress on families from everything being more expensive. Children are depressed because schools are still doing remote learning or they are stuck wearing masks for eight hours a day. The “woke” movement has people feeling like they are tied inside a social straitjacket. Nothing is funny anymore. Don’t you dare say an off-color joke or you will be banished. People are afraid to laugh at anything for fear of offending someone somewhere. When was the last time you saw a funny movie? But here’s what’s most interesting about the results of the happiness survey. The people with the most significant happiness deficiencies are Democratic voters. Liberals are miserable. Only 1 in 6 Democratic voters say they are “very happy.” Almost twice as many Republicans say they are “very happy.” Why is that? I have several admittedly unproven hypotheses. I will toss them out, and readers can decide for themselves if they agree or disagree. First, liberals are much less religious, patriotic and interested in getting married and having children than conservatives. It’s a Grand Canyon-sized division between liberals and conservatives. I’d venture to say that the love of country, God and family make people happy. If you don’t believe in these things, you will likely believe in false idols, such as big government, as your savior. That’s hardly a path to happiness. Liberals are less likely to be working and more likely to be on government assistance. But every study shows that work is highly associated with happiness. Giving a person a fish rather than teaching a person to fish leads to very different life satisfaction outcomes. Liberals also live their lives in fear. Liberals are much more likely to believe that global warming will doom us than are conservatives. To listen to some of the more fanatical climate change worriers, they seem almost to want global warming to happen so we can pay penance for our sins to the planet. Similarly, from the start of the pandemic until recently, liberals were twice as likely to be “very worried” about COVID-19 than conservatives. There is something sociologically different about how liberals view risks than conservatives. Finally, there is the geographical separation between conservatives camped in red states and liberals camped in blue states — the two Americas. Blue states shut down their economies. They shut down restaurants, schools, parks, theaters, tennis and basketball courts, playgrounds, beaches, bars and any other place where people could, God forbid, have fun. Amid the dark days of the pandemic, I traveled to New York, California and Florida. New York and California were zombie zones. If people saw you on the street walking toward you, they would lift their masks and swerve so as not to get anywhere near you. They would scowl or look away. In Florida, people got on with their lives. They took reasonable health precautions, but they got out. You could tell that Floridians were happier than New Yorkers and Californians. It made New Yorkers and Californians all the more miserable and indignant when they saw pictures and videos of the Floridians who were not planted in their living rooms in the fetal position. Some were even partying on the beaches — swimming, laughing, drinking, mingling. How dare they? And the final insult for the triply depressed liberals was that the Floridians had death rates from the virus that were no different from those living in the liberal states that outlawed fun and most human activity. Not so long ago, those on the left of the political spectrum were the partiers — the wild and crazy crowd: sex, drugs and rock ‘n’ roll. Live and let live. Now leftists are a bunch of judgmental prudes like nuns in a convent. And they suffer from a severe happiness deficit. They got Biden in office, and now they’re still miserable. Given the damage that Biden has done to our country in just one year in office, one could conclude that it serves them right. Or perhaps they just miss hating Trump.

  29. What it means is they spent enough money on them to qualify for the NFL/NFLPA G4 program, which is a way for the owners to take millions of dollars every year and put it into new stadiums rather then give it to the players. Roughly a billion dollars over the course of a 10 year CBA. The NFL loans the team a couple hundred million, usually matching the team owners contribution. They don't publicize it. It just goes under the heading of "private" money. So the league and team can then say they have put up $400 - $500 million while they expect public money to be similar. The money is paid back to the league by money that would normally be shared revenue from the team's new stadium, so it's basically free money for the team. Then, when the NFL and NFLPA get together to figure up the "all revenue" projection they use to compute the salary cap, they are given a "stadium credit" subtracted off the top before the salary cap is computed. So in effect, the players union agreed that new stadiums contribute to overall growing of league revenues, so they let the owners use some of their money to fund new stadiums, while giving the owners the tax benefits and whatever other write offs are available for funding such projects. In the end everybody's happy. It works, so player salaries keep going up. The owners are happy because they can almost double the amount they invest. The owners can spend, and say they spent $200 million for a stadium. Where, without this program they would have to give the players around $98 million of that $200 million while then only spending, and realizing tax advantages, the remaining $102 million. And the public is happy (well, most of it - besides the ones who don't think the public should spend any money) as they see "private" money ranging in the $400 - $500 million mark instead of just $200 million or so from the owner. One caveat, however, to this program is that it requires private/public investment or the team doesn't get the loan. This is why in Goodell's statement he states that it has to be a private/public partnership. And the reason the NFL "has" to have a private/public stadium in Buffalo is because just about every other team over the last 20 - 25 years (except for the Giants/Jets for whatever reason) has taken their turn either by building a new stadium or spending enough hundreds of millions revamping to qualify for this program. This includes the stadiums in Green Bay, Chicago, KC, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Dallas and most every other one. Basically, as far as the NFL owners and their little club are concerned, every other team has done their part, and now it's Buffalo's turn. They tried to get Ralph to do it, but he only spent a relatively small amount revamping. Then when Pegs took over we heard rumbling for a new stadium in Buffalo for a couple years. Then as the end of the old CBA neared, those rumblings died down because the whole program hinges on the players union allowing it. And without a new CBA in place the league wasn't about to commit to a new stadium in 2019 that wouldn't really require the money until 2021 or so with the CBA at the time set to expire in 2020 (or whenever it was exactly). And now, from the league standpoint, it's time to ramp up pressure again because they need to have the deal set, financing in place and the G4 money loaned and credited back to the owners before the current CBA runs out. My $.02 Now as for whether the Bills/county/state should build new or spend at least $400 - $500 revamping the old, I guess there's arguments both ways. Though it seems that argument has been resolved and we are expecting to build new.

  34. Daryl Williams. Week 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 and playoffs he played Right Guard. And only right guard. In my eyes, he was not great. But what does McDermott think? Right now I think McDermott has Daryl Williams penciled in as the starting Right Guard. UNLESS we sign a Free Agent like Austin Corbett, or, hit gold in the draft. Kenyon Green would be awesome. But so would Zion Johnson. Possibly Sean Rhyan, UCLA. <--- He could be a really good guard in the NFL with coaching from Kromer. Jamaree Salyer, OL, Georgia is a 2nd round pick that could be a starter by year 2. Lastly OL Ed Ingram, LSU looked very promising at the Senior Bowl. In Summary, if we don't take an IOL in the 1st round, Ed Ingram and Jamaree Salyer in the 2nd round are definitely two guys I hope we look hard at.

  35. I understand these things take time but what the fuck is taking so long? If this shit was a priority it would have been done by now, Pegulas are being unrealistic with their demands is my guess. Also I noticed how long the stadium would take to build and its outrageously long compared to other recent stadiums built. Atlanta's new stadium took 3 years to build and its huge, Buffalo is saying it will take 5 1/2 years to build a new stadium in Orchard Park, another Billsy move.
