Now that we have jumped ahead in time, Beane was dead on with not matching their contracts and letting them walk. Jordan Phillips signed a 3 year, $30,000,000 contract with the Arizona Cardinals. Shaq Lawson signed a 3 year, $30,000,000 contract with the Miami Dolphins. Shaq then got traded and now is a free agent. Keep these two players in mind when we hit free agency. Beane may let a few guys walk this year (Levi Wallace? Isaiah McKenzie? Jerry Hughes?) simply because the amount they are offered by other teams might not match the value they provide to the Bills - or our budget. PS Jordan Phillips and Shaq Lawson are okay players, they just weren't worth that much dough.
