If he had to sit them down to make it clear they are getting permission to play loose then I think it's a safe assumption that he had them on a tight leash previously.3 points

Interesting... Allen just said in his press conference that coach sat them down today and told them to play fearless and that he's giving them the green light to go. Allen then said he's not going to just go out and play reckless but he said he's not going to be gunshy about anything. I wonder if this was his way of saying that they were holding him back and he was being gunshy?2 points

Recap 1) Receives were open everywhere. Josh wasn't hitting them, and sometimes they were dropping them. The OC's job is to call plays that gets players open and allows them to convert. Daboll did that. The players didn't convert. 2) Yes, he could have ran the ball more. But after watching the All-22 and seeing just how open the receivers were, he was probably thinking in his "why run the ball when we can be passing for 20+ yard gains every play?". The only criticism I can really give him is that he should know Josh sucks and he can't hit those passes. 2 quick notes: I said Beasley at one point, and I don't think it's Beasley. I just have a hard time seeing the players numbers on the All-22 cam because it's low quality. Also an Inverted Post is also known as a corner route.2 points

If it does, then it fits with what I’ve been saying all week about him not having the same fire that he had last year. It also fits in with my merit is that his coaching that has caused him to regress. no I just want to see him put his money where his mouth is...2 points

If the OC Daboll only runs the ball 8 times with Singletary vs the 30th ranked run defense how is that good play calling?2 points
-
Nah, he's always been like that. Greatest homer this board has ever seen. He was the same with Rex, Marrone, Gailey you name it. I get being positive and wanting the best for your team. But some of his takes are just straight up delusional. And he's a good dude, but man the fanaticism is unreal at times. This thread is an example. I don't know who this Traspasso guy is but to say Allen played a good game is just flat out dumb. Its one thing that he didn't turn the ball over. Great for that. But he missed big time plays all game long with his inability to throw accurate passes. If he had been just a tad more accurate and there's no need for late game drama. We win that game easily.2 points

It's possible. This has been a very strange year league-wide. I mean, look at the Titans. Has anyone really figured them out yet? Are the good, or do they suck? It's kind of week to week. Heading into this Sunday, am I excited? No. I'm intrigued. The Dolphins have shown signs of life. The Bills seem to be running into more solid competition and have not proven up to the challenge. I'm interested to see how the Bills match up this week. This will be the tell, for me anyway--the litmus test for this team. I'm nervous in a bad way. That's not the same as excited, right?2 points

Lit you don't have to try so hard...everyone knows exactly what you think. Do you think that constant obsessing about anything is A. Gonna solve the problem ( hint fuck no as you have no control) B. Good for ones health. I'll leave you with an old Greek proverb: Nothing in excess....2 points

Since the usual defense is "Her emails", I like to play the "what if this was Obama?" game. The Trump supporters/Fox News crew would be going bonkers. ...And this is really the crux of it. There's no discussion on whether or not he did it. He's admitted it, Rudy's admitted it, and Mulvaney's admitted it. The story here is that if there's no repercussions, then this becomes the new standard for our Presidency and all future President's will have a green light to behave in this fashion.2 points

yes, allowing a president to use the office to blackmail allies into investigating political rivals is perfectly fine. nothing bad could ever come from that witch burning!!!! hahahahahaaaa get your silly posts quota in now, fellas. the tide is rising and thank god its going to wipe that shit dump off the beach2 points

i am excited for the opposite reason. I want it to take the horrible taste of the Cleveland game away. However, like Vic Said I am worried it's going to turn the bad taste into throwing up. This could very well be another loss. Although Vegas making us 6.5 favs is easing that a bit. Another dummy line like last week. Money will be on the fish which means Bills probably romp.2 points
-
Excited ? No. Worried ? Yes. Unless we absolutely annihilate the fish nothing good really comes out of this game. If we barely get by them all the talk will once again be about how bad we are that we barely beat a 2 win team. If they beat us well then we deserve everything we get. So unless we completely dominate from start to finish (and even then I can see the negative nancies dismissing it) this week is very dangerous to this team.2 points

im just meh right now......tired of getting upset week in week out while watching this team fall over itself.....Its really not fun anymore for me.....2 points

thanks for the rollout play confirmation. When it happened I wondered if that was a designed rollout or if Allen freaked out. BTW, you sound weird with the ransom note FBI voice. Did i hear you call out jungle in the middle of that video?1 point
-
if your argument is our qb is so bad and we trust him so little that we should have run despite having wide open passing lanes, then yes Daboll had bad play calling. Sorry but play calling was not the problem on Sunday.1 point

Ya with the low quality vid of the all-22 i had trouble discerning when the ball was released by Allen in comparison to the position of the underneath defender1 point

Guess what? Allen IS still the qb at this moment in this season. You are an unhinged whiner. Also guess what 2nd coming of Lombardi, Allen will still be qb next year. Do you ever get tired of being captain obvious? I mean most adults make their point succinctly the first time around and when folks dont agree with them adults generally do not harp on it OCD style.1 point

But would that not be a MAJOR criticism of your OC if he doesn’t take into account that Josh is not ready to be a gunslinger yet? If there are two ways to be successful, and one clearly isn’t getting it done, why not use the other? No excuse for not running Singletary more. Unless the coaching staff truly doesn’t care about wins and loses but want to “develop” Josh’s passing game and are willing to lose a game or two, there is no reason not to use a balanced attack. Just like you say that when NE comes up, we should play read-option all day long, what if that doesn’t work that week. Do you keep doing it or do you do something else? Running Singletary and using play action cannot be abandoned for a full out pass attack as long as Josh is having trouble with that type of game.1 point

He's had 3 outlier games that he was under 55%, 2 under 48%. The rest of the year he's been roughly 63% or better. I'm confident he'll get back over the 60% threshhold, if that even means anything anymore to anybody lol.1 point

I joined the other board because of this type of non stop trash from the same fucktard. This place is forever destined to be the worst Bills site because of this person and how he operates here. Best of luck to those of you that are decent posters. This just isn't 4 me1 point

I feel like he decides long before he snaps the ball who he is throwing to and ignores things like blown coverage on other parts of the field.1 point

10. Bills (6-3; No. 6): That “one year away” feeling has been hanging around for a few years. From PFT. This is what I think every time a homer says “we’re still in the rebuilding process”. Ughhhhh...1 point
-
I mentioned that earlier, too. Allen was about 5 yards off on that throw. He should have thrown that ball towards the side of the endzone, about 5 yards past where he threw it, so Knox could run to it and not break stride.1 point

If the Bills gave me something positive to post, I'd post it.1 point

Jungle I am starting to think you are McDermott's burner account...we can't keep defending Allen it shouldn't have come down to two field goals if he just makes the damn throws.1 point

I dont. Really. I watch every single second of every Bucs game. And I can tell you about those stats. They have a lunatic defensive coordinator Todd Bowles, who blitzes more than Rex Ryan. Ridiculous all out blitzes and he leaves the Bucs corners in single coverage all game long. Hargraves was by far the Bucs best cover guy, but like the rest of them on that team, they are being asked to do an impossible job. He has good ball skills and quickness. He is a gambler and a very good tackler. He's a bit of a jerk, which is why he got released, but we are in no position to be picky. He is a major upgrade on Wallace. I dont care was some random analytic stat machine says.1 point

you may want to rethink your sanity so the election interference you staunchly claimed was a hoax now suddenly is real because it suits your purpose to put the blame on the ukraine for listening to a bribe from trump to try to dig dirt up on a political rival over the span of the last few months, nothing but empty nutjob conspiracies have emerged about the bidens, yet this is of such importance that we are going to allow the president to trade military aid for them trying to manufacture dirt on the bidens thats crazy thinking, man1 point

Maybe Beane is the one that actually needs to get fired. Look at how bad his early drafting has been his first two years. It's atrocious. Surprising that nobody has really brought this up at all.1 point

Allen will never make it as an NFL QB, he can't hit a wide open receiver.1 point
-
Except Lit is telling the truth Allen is inaccurate, can't read defenses and misses wide open receivers. Other than that he's wrong!1 point
-
You guys are all wrong and hes right. For the millionth time you dont run for the sake of running or because the browns sucked in prior games. The browns were loading up on the run and the passing lanes were wide open all game. Most of the good runs came after long pass plays. That and our run game isn't good enough to sustain drives run only. Our line sucks and our run blocking TE is false start happy. There were points left on the field easy points because Allen missed wide open targets receivers dropped good passes. False start penalties and missed fgs. Are you really complaining about play calling on a day 20+ points were missed because of simple execution?1 point

How does giving josh Allen a true #1 make him better? If he is throwing behind guys instead of hitting them in stride, how does an true #1 help him? If he cant find open receivers on the field, how does a true #1 help him?1 point

Id honestly be surprised if the Bills beat the Fins down here. The gutted Fins have won 2 in a row. Their coach is very familiar with and knows how to beat the Bills. The Bills coaches don't know how to win. The team just doesn't have the edge. Teams like Pittsburgh and Carolina are getting it done with back up Qbs... The Bills are in purgatory.1 point

Even if the Bills had the ability to blow somebody out McD wouldn't allow it 16-10 is where he is comfortable.1 point
-
I had the exact same thoughts. They run defense is horrible. Run, run, run and run until they can prove you they can stop you. I think the correct ratio this game should have been Run 2 to 1 pass. But I guess we are not NFL coaches so we don't know better.1 point

I don't give a shit what people say Barkley is better than Allen.1 point
