It’s supposed to make landfall in NC as a TS. After that it’s mostly rain for everyone else on the East Coast with minimal winds.

So by 1pm they expect to be at the tail end

• Saturday 2 p.m. to Sunday 5 a.m.: Periods of moderate to heavy rain. Winds 20-30 mph, gusts to 30-45 mph. Confidence: Medium-High
• Sunday 5 a.m. to 2 p.m. Occasional light to moderate showers possible. Winds 10-20 mph, gusts to 20-30 mph. Confidence: Medium'

the storm hits tonight, Saturday is supposed to be the brunt of it, and it looks like it's forecasted to last UNTIL about 2pm Sunday

if it's set to hit the area at 2pm Sunday, it may not leave the area in time to postpone the game until after without fucking the teams over for the next game

also technically this isn't taking place "in the middle of" it, it's taking place at the beginning of it
