This is a great move. 4.5 million for a pass rushing specialist coming off a 12.5 season? Really? 4.5 million ain't shit. Buy low, sell high.

Really?

He was the best player on our defense most of the year.

He tailed off a little towards the end of the year but with a healthy Shaq they should be able to keep him fresh by putting him on a snap count.

If he gets 20-25 snaps a game he should be able to hold up and not fall off like he did last year.

Its not a lot of money but I don't really get it. Odds are he can't repeat last year. He's a career backup, special teams ace that somehow found the light a year ago. He did tail off at the end of the season. Its no big deal really. I just thought it was weird we tried so hard to get him back.

Great ST's player, rotational pass pass rusher & locker room presence make him worth every penny. Now if he could get Dareus to stay awake & quit roll'n dubie's during team meetings,we may have him for a whole season.
