Just a drop in the bucket, but its the thought that counts.  Thanks Sloppy Joe.  :niterider:

The White House announced Tuesday that President Joe Biden would release 50 million barrels of oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve.

The president argued in a statement the demand for oil was not able to keep up with the economy recovering from the coronavirus pandemic shutdowns, leading to higher prices.

“American consumers are feeling the impact of elevated gas prices at the pump and in their home heating bills, and American businesses are, too, because oil supply has not kept up with demand as the global economy emerges from the pandemic,” the White House said in a statement.

Biden announced his decision as Americans prepare to hit the road for Thanksgiving travel at the same time prices show no sign of easing, as Breitbart News reports.

Gas prices have hit a seven-year-high as Biden struggles to find a solution to higher gas prices.

Biden failed to convince OPEC+ nations to produce more oil in November and tried to blame the higher prices on oil companies.

The White House is also arguing Americans have more money to use to help pay for more expensive gasoline.

In his statement, Biden reminded Americans that thanks to his policies, they “nearly $100 more per month in disposable income in their pockets” to help pay for the higher cost of energy and fuel.

Biden also boasted that his “historic” infrastructure bill invested in green energy with the goal of “a net-zero emissions economy by 2050 and reducing our dependence on foreign fossil fuels.”

Novel thought: How about we go back to Trump's policy? Seemed to work pretty good.

You know the answer to that.  No can do!  Sloppy Joe is also shipping millions of barrels to China.  It appears that depleting our reserves is on his to-do list.  :niterider:

Dear Sleepy Joe, there is this thing called OPEC. Maybe, being that you've been somehow involved with our federal government for the last 40 years, you've heard of it? Maybe not, it's only been around since 1960.

Anyway, Joe, OPEC is what's called an oil cartel. Maybe in your 40 years you've come to understand what exactly a cartel does? Or maybe not. Here's a hint, they don't sell ice cream cones. They also don't go out and increase oil production with the idea of keeping prices low.

Maybe one of your advisors can explain to you the best way to combat this practice (without bombing them to smithereens, that is).

What's that you say? Oh you're going to release 50 million barrels of strategic reserve oil? Awesome idea. Let's see, at the current rate of consumption that should supply our country for about 2 1/2 days. Ha ha ha way to stick it to those damned oil producing countries, Joe. How dare they limit production to keep those prices up. We'll show 'em by God!

Keep up the good work, Joe. We'll have those OPEC sonsabitches crawling on their knees in no time.

Then there's also the US Oil companies that have found their sweet spot of lower production keeping costs low,  higher price per barrel all leading to a margin grab and happy shareholders.

Sen. Manchin urges Biden to reopen Keystone XL pipeline

Untitled-design---2021-11-24T120321.680.

"To be clear, this is about American energy independence and the fact that hard-working Americans should not depend on foreign actors, like OPEC+, for our energy security and instead focus on the real challenges facing our country's future."

On Tuesday, Senator Joe Manchin called on President Joe Biden to restore the Keystone XL pipeline, following Biden's announcement of a plan to release millions of barrels of oil from the nation's reserves to combat rising gas prices.

"I continue to call on President Biden to responsibly increase energy production here at home and to reverse course to allow the Keystone XL pipeline to be built which would have provided our country with up to 900,000 barrels of oil per day from Canada, one of our closest allies," said Manchin in a statement.

"To be clear, this is about American energy independence and the fact that hard working Americans should not depend on foreign actors, like OPEC+, for our energy security and instead focus on the real challenges facing our country's future," he continued, referring to the group of major oil-producing countries.

Biden revoked a permit for the Keystone XL pipeline as part of his first wave of actions as president back in January. In February, Manchin reportedly called on Biden to rethink the cancellation, arguing that pipelines across the country "continue to be the safest mode to transport our oil and natural gas resources, and they support thousands of high-paying, American union jobs."

Manchin's statement comes the same day Biden announced plans to release 50 million barrels of oil from the nation's Strategic Petroleum Reserve as a way to combat skyrocketing gas prices across the country, according to The Hill.

Manchin criticized this release of oil reserves, calling it a "Band-Aid" on a greater issue. "Today's release from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve is an important policy Band-Aid for rising gas prices but does not solve for the self-inflicted wound that shortsighted energy policy is having on our nation," said Manchin.

"With an energy transition underway across the country, it is critical that Washington does not jeopardize America's energy security in the near term and leave consumers vulnerable to rising prices," he continued.

"Historic inflation taxes and the lack of a comprehensive all-of-the-above energy policy pose a clear and present threat to American's economic and energy security that can no longer be ignored," he concluded.

We could also hold oil companies to a minimum level of production to keep gas and oil prices from fluctuating.  We don't have a lack of domestic resources, we have a lack of interest in spending right now by the oil producers.  They are reaping a windfall of profits and want to end the year on a high note without adding the additional expenses of cranking up production without a return that would fall in FY 21.

I'm hearing most of this oil is shipping off to China and India. Can't make this shit up.

Oil reserves released by Biden expected to primarily go to China, India

President Biden’s move to tap the U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve is expected to supply Chinese and Indian oil needs as gas demands have led to global shortages, reports said Tuesday.

The White House said the Department of Energy will release 50 million barrels of oil held in U.S. reserves — 18 million of which have already been congressionally approved for sale.

The additional 32 million barrels will be intended for U.S. consumers to alleviate increased demand.

Yep.  Three tankers are on their way to China right now.  Other countries are opening up their reserves to China as well.  It doesn't make any sense since China has over 25 billion barrels in their own reserves.  :niterider:

Totally makes sense when you consider that the Globalists likely ordered that so their One Road most favored nation operates without any blips.

At the moment part of our supply chain issues includes Electricity production issues in China.  One of the brands I represent has a factory in China that is currently only producing 4 days each week due to Electricity allocations.

Will this oil be delivered on rail as opposed to a pipeline?

That's far more dangerous to the environment than the original pipeline project he canceled.
