Instead of getting in faces like many QB's, Josh sulks on the bench alone

Recommended Posts

Noticed it time and again when Bills are behind in a game. Josh doesn't show leadership qualities other than the standard "I'm just as much to blame" pat answers during pressers.

Pictures of Brady getting in his defense's faces, pumping up teammates when the Pats were behind are etched in our brains. Mayfield, Mahomes, Jackson: they all show some passion to get their teammates going.. Besides Allen's inconsistency, he seems to lack this important leadership quality.

Since Eric Wood and Kyle Williams left the team, there's no true identity or team leader.

Not hanging this loss entirely on Allen but this issue isn't helping matters. There's nobody to circle the wagons.

He often seems to be the one guy on the team with any fire at all and is the only one I could even generously call a leader.. Agree 100% with you, though, that not having a seasoned veteran that's a true leader is a big problem. Imagine having a guy like, say, a Brian Dawkins-type on defense, and what that could do for team mentality.
