The Stages of Covid - Please get vaccinated

First off, Politics wise...if you voted for Biden you truly are an AssHat!  The guy is an idiot and destroying the country, destroying the economy and destroying everyone's lives.  What has Biden done that is worth a shit?  Nothing.  Dislike or hate Trump all you want but his policies were great.

Now on to the meat!  Are you a doctor?  Did you take pathology, immunology and pharmacology at a professional level?  If the answer is no, then you have no idea what you are talking about.  I have taken all 3 and I have a doctorate degree, not specifically in medicine but close enough where infection control is paramount in my clinical field.

Does the "Jab" work?  Honestly, I don't know.   Do I trust the reports from big pharma?  No!  Do I trust Fauci?  No!   I can only trust at this point what I see with my own eyes and hear with my own ears.   It is not a vaccine in the form that it prevents contraction, or carrying of the virus.  The only redeeming part of the Jab is it supposedly reduces the severity of the symptoms to help prevent hospitalization and death.

Facts:  Covid 19 has a 99.9X% survival rate.  Which means for every 100 people infected 99 will survive.  The last 1 % means that depending upon age you may have a bad infection and about half a percent will die.   So basically out of 1000 people infected 10 people will have some issue's where 1 or 2 may die.  That was before therapeutics.

Therapeutics:  They exist now.  Remdesivir, is a known one.  I don't know about Ivermectin nor HydroxyCholorquine.  I know in Maryland/Baltimore hospitals are using Ivermectin with great success.  However, hearing around the world HCQ works early as prophylactic, but no definitive proof yet.

Israel studies are showing people that have had Covid are 20x more protected than someone getting the jab.  Again studies are showing this but not hard facts yet

Jab side effects....yes the Jab can kill you, cause harm to you both short term and long term.

Right now my advice to my patients is if you are old, or immune deficient then the jab might offer you some protection.  If you are healthy and young, you should research side effects and make an informed decision on this topic.

As for forced vaccinations....ABSOLUTELY NOT!  That is a violation of your rights.  Anyone on board with forcing an experimental treatment is in violation of the Nazi Germany act of experimenting on people.  Even if you are pro Jab, I strongly recommend you fight for your rights to choose!

GREAT POST

Awesome post, glad to see an actual doctor not driven by politics and the MSM backing us up on here. We're getting our information from a lot of doctors not afraid to tell the truth since they aren't on the payroll. I just got over whatever variant of COVID-19 I had last week and it wasn't so bad. Glad I got 20x the immunity now and didn't take the easy way out by living an unhealthy lifestyle and then expecting a magic shot to fix me.

If it wasn't that bad, it means you didn't have the "IT..

You had a cold etc

Daily US COVID cases up more than 300% from Labor Day last year.

vaccinated people should wear their masks when required and that the high rate of virus transmission meant that it could be risky for them to travel as well.

Nationwide, only 53% of the total population is fully vaccinated, and just 62% of eligible Americans have received their jabs, leaving tens of millions at risk

Israeli doctors find severe COVID-19 breakthrough cases mostly in older, sicker patients

JERUSALEM, Aug 20 (Reuters) - In Israel's COVID-19 wards, doctors are learning which vaccinated patients are most vulnerable to severe illness, amid growing concerns about instances in which the shots provide less protection against the worst forms of the disease.

Around half of the country's 600 patients presently hospitalized with severe illness have received two doses of the Pfizer Inc (PFE.N) shot, a rare occurrence out of 5.4 million fully vaccinated people.

The majority of these patients received two vaccine doses at least five months ago, are over the age of 60 and also have chronic illnesses known to exacerbate a coronavirus infection. They range from diabetes to heart disease and lung ailments, as well as cancers and inflammatory diseases that are treated with immune-system suppressing drugs, according to Reuters interviews with 11 doctors, health specialists and officials.

Such "breakthrough" cases have become central to a global debate over whether highly vaccinated countries should give booster doses of COVID-19 vaccines, and to which people.

Israel began offering booster doses to people age 60 and up in July, and has since expanded that eligibility.

The United States, citing data out of Israel and other findings, said on Wednesday it would make booster doses available to all Americans beginning in September.

Other countries, including France and Germany, have so far limited their booster plans to the elderly and people with weak immune systems.

"The vaccinated patients are older, unhealthy, often they were bedridden before infection, immobile and already requiring nursing care," said Noa Eliakim-Raz, head of the coronavirus ward at Rabin Medical Centre in Petach Tikva.

In contrast, "the unvaccinated COVID patients we see are young, healthy, working people and their condition deteriorates rapidly," she said. "Suddenly they're being put on oxygen or on a respirator." (Bullshit)

Israel's Health Ministry raised new alarm this week with a report showing the effectiveness against severe disease of the Pfizer vaccine, developed with Germany's BioNTech, appeared to have dropped from more than 90% to 55% in people age 65 and up who received their second jab in January.

Disease experts say it is not clear how representative the figures are, but agree it is concerning given evidence that overall vaccine protection against infection is waning.

They cannot say whether that is due to the amount of time that has passed since inoculation, the ability of the highly contagious Delta variant to evade protection, the age and underlying health of the people vaccinated, or a combination of all of these factors.

Health officials in the UK and United States, two other nations with high vaccination rates and a spike in Delta infections, have reported similar trends. In the UK, about 35% of the people hospitalized with a Delta case in recent weeks had received two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine. Nearly three-quarters of U.S. breakthrough infections that led to hospitalization or death were among people age 65 or older, according to federal data.

U.S. officials said their booster plan is based on concern that over time, the vaccines will provide less protection against severe disease, including among younger adults.

"We are watching other countries carefully and (are) concerned that we too will see what Israel is seeing, which is worsening infections over time" among vaccinated people, U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Rochelle Walensky said at a press conference on Wednesday.

The World Health Organization has repeatedly urged wealthy nations to refrain from providing boosters while much of the world has yet to access their first COVID vaccine doses.

IMMUNE RESPONSE

The Delta variant, first identified in India, has become the dominant version of the SARS-CoV-2 virus globally, accelerating a pandemic that has killed more than 4.4 million people.

In Israel, daily new cases have increased from the single digits in June to around 8,000 since the arrival of Delta. Approximately half of the cases - the majority of them mild to moderate - are in vaccinated people.

Those vaccinated first in Israel were at high-risk, including people age 60 and up. The immune response of some may have weakened by the time Delta hit Israel. But for others with underlying health conditions, the vaccine may have not kicked in at all.

"For some of them the vaccine did not trigger an immune response, they had no antibodies, because of the illness itself or because they are treated with medication that suppresses the immune system," said Dror Mevorach, who heads the coronavirus ward at Hadassah hospital in Jerusalem. He cited examples such as chronic lymphocytic leukemia and lymphoma.

Among 3 million vaccinated Israelis covered by Clalit, the country's largest healthcare provider, 600 have suffered severe breakthrough cases since June. Around 75% of them were above the age of 70 and were at least 5 months after their second dose, according to Ran Balicer, Clalit's chief innovation officer. Nearly all of them have chronic illnesses.

"We are hardly seeing young vaccinated people in severe condition," said Balicer.

In the UK, doctors described similar characteristics among vaccinated patients who fall severely ill.

"In those people who come in, because of their age, because of their co-morbidities, they might be people that you would expect that the vaccine is not quite so efficacious as other age groups," said Tom Wingfield, a clinical lecturer at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine.

A new surge in U.S. coronavirus cases and deaths has been fueled by Delta, particularly in states where vaccination rates remain low. Among vaccinated patients who become infected, there is evidence of older people being hit harder.

In Texas, 92% of the vaccine breakthrough cases that resulted in death were in people over the age of 60 and 75% had a known underlying condition that put them at high risk from COVID-19, according to a public health department spokesperson.

Initial data in Israel suggests the booster shots administered in the last few weeks are reducing the risk of infection in older people compared with those who have received only two doses. read more .

Even without boosters, Israeli doctors say that vaccinated patients tend to recover more quickly.

"The vaccinated patients I've treated usually left the ICU in about three days. The unvaccinated patients took a week or two until they stabilized," said Yael Haviv-Yadid, head of the critical care ward at Sheba Medical Centre near Tel Aviv.

Even if the vaccine did not stop them getting ill, it may have mitigated their illness, said Alex Rozov, head of the coronavirus ward at Barzilai Medical Centre in Ashkelon.

"Our cautious impression is that the vaccinated patients suffer an easier course of illness - the treatment is more effective among those who have antibodies."

TY.  Again all supports vaccines. All.

Get vaccine, get booster when indicated, much safer and less deadly then catching Covid organically and getting the possibly better immunity. Which also wears off and in absence of vaccines you are then more at risk of getting Covid repeatedly.

So choice is:

1. get vaccine and very likely not get Covid and/or not get very sick, likely not get long haul syndrome as the viral load was lower, and also not die.

2.  shun the vaccine, take horse dewormer, let mutations proliferate, catch Covid very year or 2 to then gain the immunity response. And, be at much higher risk of severe disease and death.

There is no law against being dumb.

1. Proves that the vaccine does not work in those in compromised immune systems.

2. The vaccine is leading to mutations, not Ivermectin or HQC. Those are therapeutic drugs that do not force your body to make spike proteins or kill off viruses leaving only the survivors in place. The COVID-19 is as effective as the flu shot which isn't very effective. These viruses mutate too fast to make a non-leaky, efficacious inoculation.

Covid vaccines work everywhere they are taken.

vaccine still works to prevent severe disease and death even in immunosuppressed.  All vaccines have trouble with immunosuppressed individuals. That does not make the Covid vaccines a failure as you so desperately hope for.

mutations take hold and proliferate when they have a human or animal reservoir.

The unvaxxed are that reservoir.

Flu vaccine is very effective. Would be much more effective if people would get it. Only about 50% take it.

NFL Cancels Grammy Winner Victory Boyd’s National Anthem Performance over Her Vaccination Status

victoryboyd1-640x480.jpg

The National Football League has canceled Grammy Award winner Victory Boyd’s scheduled National Anthem performance after she refused the coronavirus vaccine for religious reasons.

In an email shared with The Epoch Times, NFL Senior Director for Media and Entertainment Events Seth Dudowsky to Victory’s father and manager, John Boyd, on August 31 that her vaccination status will make ineligible to perform the National Anthem.

“As I understand that Victory will not be fully vaccinated by the time of the Kickoff game, she would not have been able to comply with the terms of the Game Day Field Access Policy,” said Dudowsky. “And as a result, we, unfortunately, will not be able to invite Victoria to perform the national anthem at this year’s Kickoff game.”

GettyImages-963169046.jpg

Victory was slated to perform at the NFL’s Sept. 9 season-opening game in Tampa Bay at an open-air stadium. As a result of the cancellation, she will be denied the $20,000 performance fee. In the email, Dudowsky repeated the NFL’s policy that all “individuals accessing the playing field and surrounding sideline areas” be fully vaccinated:

Under the Policy, ‘fully vaccinated’ means 14 days have passed since the individual received the final dose required in the vaccine sequence, in accordance with guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. This requirement is mandatory and fully complies with the laws applicable to the type of business relationship contemplated here, and we are not in a position to make an exception.

Neither the email nor The Epoch Times report specified if Boyd could submit a negative coronavirus test to sing the National Anthem, which would have taken place in the middle of an open-air field, far away from spectators.

Victory Boyd, who won a Grammy for her work on Kanye West’s album “Jesus is King,” previously performed the National Anthem at an NFL playoffs game in 2018.

Boyd told The Epoch Times that she will continue to discern on whether or not she should take the coronavirus vaccine, citing her Christian faith. She also feared that the NFL’s treatment of her would echo throughout the entertainment and music industry:

The Bible admonishes Christians to appreciate their bodies as being sacred and a temple of the Holy Spirit and to not participate in things that can defile the body or render the body dysfunctional.

I am in prayer to make sure that the Lord guides me into the right decision concerning receiving an unproven injection with artificial properties that can potentially have a longterm effect on my reproductive health.

If I want to take the vaccine, the decision will be between myself, my doctor and my God. At this point, the Spirit of God is leading me to take a stand for freedom of choice.

Throughout my life I have overcome many obstacles, but now I was faced with a new glass ceiling that I couldn’t break through. It feels like we’re going backwards to a familiar place that I thought we had overcome as a country.

To be disqualified because of a discriminatory policy that had nothing to do with my talent made me feel alarmed because of what it implies for not only myself but millions of others.

The NFL does not currently have a vaccine mandate in place for players. Should a player refuse the vaccine, they must submit a negative coronavirus test. Players who have previously been infected with the virus will be considered fully vaccinated only after they had one dose of the vaccine.

Breitbart News reached out to the NFL for comment but received no response as of this writing.

In August, Broadway star Laura Osnes had to withdraw from a scheduled performance in a one-night production of  Crazy For You at the Guild Hall in East Hampton after the venue required proof of vaccination.

“This negative test option was never extended to me,” she said. “I would have tested in a heartbeat — something I have been doing for months, and will continue to do, in order to keep working safely.”
