The Bills have added another piece to their offensive line. The team announced on Friday that they have signed offensive lineman Jamil Douglas. Another day, another signing for the Buffalo Bills, who announced that they signed offensive lineman Jamil Douglas to a one-year contract on Friday. Douglas, 29, spent the last two years with the Tennessee Titans, where he was a reserve guard with 29 games played and five starts.

The 6’4” 309 pound Douglas originally entered the league as a fourth-round pick out of Arizona State by the Miami Dolphins in 2015. He played two seasons in Miami, then bounced between practice squads from 2017 to 2018, before sticking with the Titans. A college starter at both guard and left tackle, Douglas settled in at right guard and center in his NFL career.

On the Bills, Douglas should compete with Ike Boettger, Ryan Bates, Trey Adams, Jordan Devey, and Bobby Hart to land on the 53-man roster as one of the backup offensive linemen. Cody Ford, Mitch Morse, and Jon Feliciano are the starting interior trio, and that shouldn’t change unless the Bills spent a top-64 pick on an OL at the end of the month.

dont snooze on the bean

hes done this many times before with nobodys and turned them into productive players

hes a guy that will compete in camp and if he shows hes worthy he could provide solid backup coverage

idk why you guys doubt the bean after how many times weve been through this. get the best cast-offs you can find, coach them up, let them compete, and let the chips fall where they may. its been spectacularly successful so far. hes turned the bills from a laughingstock into a bonafide contender in three years!

keep 'em coming, beaner!
