Do the Fins have enough picks to trade for Watson now?

Worried about Miami. LOL

The Bills decimated them with nothing to play for in the season finale last year and you are worried about them.

Allen vs Tua??????/ :classic_laugh::classic_laugh::classic_laugh::classic_laugh::classic_laugh::classic_laugh::classic_laugh:

I would be worried but first they have to hit on all of those picks and frankly they need a better coach but don't listen to me on it...

Kyle Van Noy praises Bill Belichick, says “no comment” on Brian Flores

Van Noy, who previously played for the Patriots from 2016 to 2019, was asked how it was different playing for Dolphins head coach Brian Flores in Miami compared to playing for Flores when he was an assistant in New England.

“Yeah, no comment,” Van Noy said about Flores.

Yes.

Think through it logically.

We got to the AFC Championship game with a stud QB.

Miami went 10-6 with Tua hot-garbage Tagavoila at QB and Fitz playing relief pitcher.

That is very hard to do without a good team.

If Allen was in Miami, does anyone here doubt that they would have won 2 or 3 more games? Because that would have made them 12-4 or 13-3 ... which is what we were.

They also have FIVE first rounders in the next 3 years, as well as FOUR second rounders.

Miami is in a great spot, and instead of getting better, we just kinda stayed the same.

Remember in 2003, or whatever year it was, when he got Spikes, Malloy, Adams, Posey, Anderson to bolster a defense that already had Clements, Winfield, Schobel to already go along with our great offense of Bledsoe, Price and Moulds?

And. We. Still. Sucked. Ass

Meanwhile Pats win the Super Bowl.

They have many tokens for the slot machine but that doesn't guarantee they'll get any prizes and we've all seen perennial loser teams like the Browns having high draft picks year after year only to never get anywhere (shockingly they actually have somewhat of a team now). You have great faith in the Dolphins front office.

No doubt, but your logic doesn’t make sense in the scope of the argument. It’s like saying Buffalo has been nearly as good as New England the last 20 years other than QB. Well QB happens to be the most important position in sports and we have one of the best in the league. If they were to get watson or tua becomes the real deal, absolutely they will be a threat for years to come. Until then, they don’t worry me as long as we keep on the track we’re heading for.

Except the Bills were never as good as NE the last 20 years.

Miami is as good as us outside of QB.

If they package those picks to get Wilson or Watson, they're better than us.

It can change that quickly.

That’s debatable at best, especially since we won 2 playoff games with Josh playing just above average. Defense completely shutting down Baltimore was as good of a performance anybody had until TB in the super bowl

That's a very homeristic perspective. Which is understandable, since were all fans.

It won't.  Whilst Wilson is making demands to Seattle management in the most passive- aggressive way possible and Watson is the latest in a string of  social justice warriors fending off sexual assault lawsuits, Josh Allen is in Tibet lifting a steaming cauldron with his forearms branding  the Bill's symbol into them.

Josh will always be N+1!!

I like what the fins are doing. They have a good coach in Flores and are assembling picks to build their roster which is smart. We still have the advantage at QB but lets see how Tua develops. He wont have Fitz to come in in relief anymore.

You can build the best roster but if you don't get the QB right, your toast.

That would put Watson way closer to Palm Beach County where Bob Kraft got busted for his happy ending massages. At least Kraft had enough pull to have his lawyers block the video tapes from court forcing the prosecution to drop the charges... Watson? Not so much pull.

Lol Watson is fucked I doubt we see him play again. Either he's a piece of shit predator or someone (McNair) wants him destroyed badly. Either way he's screwed.

And one of those key first rounders they wasted on Tua. They needed to replace a star DB and OT that they traded away the year before. They are staying the same. Lots of capital for a team that changes their players and coaching every three years. High turnover is always their biggest problem. Expecting more of the same. Btw...This is the year to get a good QB and they are passing that up.

None of what you just said makes any sense.

They went 10-6 even AFTER trading those players away.

And they still have loads of draft capital.

And they seem to be all-in on their GM and coach now.

It makes plenty of sense, they have done this 5-6 times already since Brady took over in the 2000s. They will trade or not sign the players in this years draft in 3-4 years from now, like they always have done. They will change the offensive and defensive schemes again, along with the players they accumulated. Getting rid of good established players they developed to play well for other teams. While they start over with prospects with only potential. Not to mention Tua will get people fired quicker than Tanny did. So what consistency are looking at?

Miami was a flukey 10-6 where they barely won every game they played.

It’s amazing how much incorrect information you’re spewing.

What they are doing right now is unlike anything they’ve done in over 20 years.

They aren’t changing any schemes are coming off of a 10-6 season DESPITE having bad QB play.

And you said they barely won every game they played? Huh!? They won like 8 of their 10 wins by two scores!

You don't get it. If you don't have a QB there will be a scheme change. Heads will roll like they always do when a franchise misses on one they picked so high.

Haven't seen that stat...I remember them looking like chumps at the end of the year against the Bills.

Bottom line.  Miami is not a bad football team right now.   And with tons of 1st round and 2nd round picks, they have a chance to get even better.

Their organization is making smart moves towards the goal of winning the AFC East.

This year the Fins pick 6th overall.  Either TE Pitts or one of the really good WRs
Then they pick 18th.  That should be a really good player.
In the 2nd round they pick 36th.  Which is pretty close to a 1st round pick.
And they have the 50th pick.  Mid 2nd round.
Not to mention they have pick 81 (3rd round)

They do the same thing all over again in 2022.

Their roster will be better because of all these high picks.  Plus, it will help them manage their Cap Space.

Draft Targets: Top Corner, OL Quinn Meinerz, TE Tommy Tremble, KR/PR Avery Williams
