Under the radar, affordable EDGE rusher? Kerry Hyder, Free Agent

2020 STATS:    8.5 Sacks. 10 TFL.  30 Solo Tackles.  

If he is "affordable" is he someone the Bills should consider if they miss out on JJ Watt?

He is 30 years old, so you have to assume his contract wouldn't be crazy.

Draft one please. We did the signings the last two years and have become a medicare extension... Get your scouts earning their pay. We can't afford another flop. Draft two edge rushers. Two for the price of none. They can compete against each other to start. All edge and OL... And left over cb/ returner and rb.

We drafted Shaq Lawson at pick 19.   He was just okay.

Drafting an Edge guy at pick 30 has risk.  That player may just be okay.  Or a bust even.

Not a lot of high quality Edge prospects this year...so it is not easy to:

a) determine who will be best in the NFL and
b) have that said player on the board when you draft.

 

PS  For example Wake Forest Edge Carl Basham will be a popular pick at #64 at the bottom of the 2nd round, but his upside maybe limited.

Oh boy.  We missed on Von Miller and then took Dareus instead of JJ Watt.    Buddy Nix!
