Diehard Bills fan Shooter McGavin responds to Adam Sandler’s call out on 25th anniversary of Happy Gilmore

Today is the 25th anniversary of the release of the movie Happy Gilmore so it was no surprise to find Adam Sandler, the star of the film, on the golf course. With fans celebrating the anniversary of the movie, Sandler showed off his famous Happy Gilmore golf swing.

Needless to say, he’s still got it.

 

Sandler not only dedicated the shot ahead of time to Shooter McGavin, but ended the video saying, “You’re dead, Shooter.”

Shooter McGavin, of course, was played by diehard Buffalo Bills fan Christopher McDonald. Not wanting to be outdone, McDonald responded to Sandler’s video staying in the Shooter McGavin character the entire time.

McDonald wasn’t on the golf course when he responded, but he still found a way to show that his short-game is very good.

“Drive for show, putt for the dough,” McDonald said before sinking a putt on camera. You can watch his entire response below.
