“It’s a mess” - Biden’s first 10 days in office

Recommended Posts

“His team arrived at the White House with a 200-page response plan ready to roll out. But instead, they have spent much of the last week trying to wrap their hands around the mushrooming crisis — a process officials acknowledge has been humbling, and triggered a concerted effort to temper expectations about how quickly they might get the nation back to normal.

After a week on the job, Biden’s team is still trying to locate upwards of 20 million vaccine doses that have been sent to states — a mystery that has hampered plans to speed up the national vaccination effort. They're searching for new ways to boost production of a vaccine stockpile that they've discovered is mostly empty. And they're nervously eyeing a series of new Covid-19 strains that threaten to derail the response.

“It’s the Mike Tyson quote: ‘Everybody’s got a plan until they get punched in the mouth,’” said one person with knowledge of the vaccine effort who’s not authorized to discuss the work. “They are planning. They are competent. It’s just the weight of everything when you sit down in that chair. It’s heavy.”

Biden officials leading the coronavirus response launched a series of regular briefings this week to keep the public informed on the state of the pandemic and government efforts to contain it and rush vaccines out to as many Americans as possible.

But the briefings were short on details. And behind the scenes, officials say, the team was still struggling to get a handle on basic information, liaise with the career government workers who have been running the response and build out a long-term strategy for bringing — and then keeping — the virus under control.”

He had a plan: come on man!  I am pretty sure we can all be certain of one thing, our guy Joe is not holding this chicken.  He can't function at a level that allows him to keep track of things.  It's only going to get worse for him and the lame stream Marxist media is not going to be able to cover for him.  But, we'll circle back on that and let you know.

Yes he does have a plan. Everything bad that happens over the next 4 years will “circle back” to.... repeat after Hip “all Trump’s fault”.

Just like everything over the last four years was Obama's fault. The hypocrisy is strong in you sheep, isn't it?? Meanwhile, he's been in office 10 days. Who ever, EVER came into office and in the first week had everything figured out.

No, instead, it's always about cleaning up after the last guy or in Trump's case, just randomly overturning everything the last guy (Obama) did.

You fuckers are pathetic. One time, come with something real. The next time you do will be the first time.

Now go graze, little lambs...

Well, the MSM will blame Trump for at least the next year saying that Biden has to clean up his mess but we all know that the Biden incompetence will continue in his administration because they are promoting people based on demographic data instead of ability. Biden's first week alone has been a total disaster unless you're some la-la tree hugger willing to shoot both of your feet in the name of virtue signaling. Behold!

BIDEN'S FIRST WEEK IN REVIEW: A DISASTER

DAY ONE

Halted Border Wall Construction

  • Walls work. President Biden knows this. Despite his intention to order a halt to border wall construction, he won't tear down any of the existing structures on the southern border.
  • This is a political move that prioritizes optics over the safety of American communities.
2db4ce52-b969-4e86-a59a-7c8fed0f20f4.png

Terminated National Emergency at the Southern Border

  • Democrats tried their hardest to block President Trump's efforts to secure our southern border.
  • Drugs continue to flow across the border, human traffickers continue to operate, and violence continues to flare up.
  • The basic facts on the southern border haven't changed and neither should the national emergency designation.
b2011268-6570-4710-b0a3-cc3506355891.png

Revoked the Keystone XL Pipeline Permit

  • The American energy renaissance proved that when America is energy independent, we no longer have to rely upon tyrants or autocratic regimes
  • The Keystone XL pipeline would safely move crude oil produced by our ally Canada to U.S refineries along the Gulf Coast.
  • Energy made and moved in America creates jobs, lowers the cost of gas and electricity for low-income Americans, and advances American interests on the world stage.
  • Under the Trump Administration, over 100 miles of the pipeline have been built, and the remainder would create over 10,000 union jobs and be constructed with steel Made in America.
  • Revoking the permit for the Keystone XL pipeline is a monumental mistake that will hit working Americans the hardest and increase our reliance on dirtier imported crude from unreliable OPEC countries.
  • 2,000 American workers will immediately lose their jobs, over $2 billion dollars in wages will go unpaid, and rural communities will lose $100 million in property tax revenues.
9d8efd3e-ff3a-411b-ac5a-d6f3988f4614.png

Rejoined the Paris Climate Agreement

  • The Paris Climate Agreement was fatally flawed from the start and that hasn't changed.
  • The agreement gives a free pass to the world's worst polluters while throttling the American energy industry, which produces energy more cleanly and more efficiently than anywhere in the world.
  • A 2017 report found that the Obama Administration's Paris commitments would cost the U.S.A. up to 2.7 million jobs by 2025.
  • We can expect even worse economic devastation as President Biden fulfills his promise to "go much further than [the Paris Agreement]."
1b1673c5-0916-4525-9184-ff7e3086505d.png

Rejoined the World Health Organization (WHO)

  • The World Health Organization played an undeniable role in the spread of COVID-19.
  • The United States of America — the largest source of funding for the WHO — should not participate in the WHO until there is a full accounting of the mistakes and cover-ups that allowed an isolated coronavirus outbreak to spiral into a pandemic.
  • The Chinese Communist Party's outsized influence on the WHO must be investigated and dealt with.
3e0d30ae-825f-4d56-811f-4c3dab419bbb.png

DAY TWO

Lied about coronavirus vaccine distribution

  • President Biden's administration claimed that vaccine distribution plans "did not really exist" when he took office.
  • This is false. Vaccinations topped one million per day within two days of Biden's swearing-in, putting his "100 Million Shots in 100 Days" plan on track to succeed solely by leaning on the Trump administration's efforts.
  • Even Dr. Fauce had to confirm, "We certainly are not starting from scratch."
6261a623-fe38-43b7-9241-cbb55ccac466.png

Pledged to withdraw from Mexico City Policy
  • The United States of America simply has no place funding organizations that support or perform abortions in foreign countries.
  • Taxpayer funds should never be used to fund abortions here or abroad.
60789b24-b1f2-4e93-a7a4-9539f9e5362c.png

DAY THREE

Laid the groundwork for a $15 minimum wage

  • 30% of small businesses in America have closed due to COVID-19.
  • At a time when small businesses are struggling to keep doors open and employees on the payroll, it is unconscionable to burden them with a dramatically higher minimum wage.
  • In 2019, the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) estimated that a bill to raise the minimum wage to $15 could cost up to 3.7 million jobs lost and $9 billion lost in family income.
  • Businesses will close. Americans will lose their jobs. The $15 minimum wage would be a disaster for working families.

THE WEEKEND

President Biden didn't do much for Americans.

e7e7d524-d4d4-4262-a453-ca41072e43aa.png

DAY SIX

Offered Putin a five-year clean extension of the New START nuclear treaty

  • For over a decade, New START has put an unequal burden on the United States' nuclear arsenal, while allowing Russia to invent new warhead-delivery systems unchecked.
  • A five-year clean extension of the New START treaty allows Russia's behavior to go unaddressed for another five years.
  • America gets nothing for extending the treaty, while Russia and China continue to modernize and innovate their own nuclear forces.
44815c38-9cb1-49bf-9a02-c810afe7d774.png

DAY SEVEN

Banned new oil and gas leasing and drilling on federal lands

  • President Biden admits this ban is “a necessary first step” to end oil and gas production on federal lands.
  • This expected total ban is projected to cost one million jobs nationwide.
  • Consumer energy prices will rise, hitting the most vulnerable hardest, as American jobs and energy production are shipped overseas to foreign states like Russia, Iran, and Venezuela.
  • Western states like New Mexico, where over a third of all land is owned by the federal government, will be hit particularly hard. States and local governments rely on billions in tax revenues from offshore and onshore energy development to fund public schools, first responders, parks, conservation and coastal restoration efforts.
52b5ef9f-486a-4d30-b846-22b80c16ff84.png

BOTTOM LINE: In his first week in office, President Biden kept his promises to the far-left: torching American energy jobs, taking us a decade into the past on foreign policy, and unsettling a fragile economy with reckless policy. If he truly wants to be a president for all Americans, President Biden needs to start governing in the interests of all Americans — not just the radical left.

I didn’t blame Obama for one bad thing that happened in Trumps term. I voted for Obama twice. I didn’t think he was bad. But, when I wanted give Trump credit for the strong economy, stock market and low unemployment. You were right there with that’s all Obama. And I predict you’ll do it in your response because that’s the kind of hypocrite you are. Obama had his years and he should get credit for what he did. Trump should get credit for what good came out of his term not just the blame for the bad. Now from here on out is all Biden’s good and bad.

No, those are just facts. The Economy, BEFORE Covid, under Trump, BTW, was falling, GDP - down. Rate of Job Creation - slower than under Obama.

https://nationalinterest.org/blog/reboot/trump-economy-vs-obama-economy-which-was-better-177320

  • GDP per Capita % variation: -.028
  • Gross Fixed Capital Formation per Capita % variation: -3.41
  • Private Consumption per Capita % Variation: -1.63
  • Total Employment % Variation Labor Force Data: -1.71
  • Unemployment % Variation: 17.80
  • Unemployment Rate Variation: 1.78

And let me remind you of the numbers when Obama left office:

  • The economy gained a net 11.6 million jobs. The unemployment rate dropped to below the historical norm @ 4.7%
  • Average weekly earnings for all workers were up 4.2 percent after inflation. The gain was 3.7 percent for just production and nonsupervisory employees.
  • After-tax corporate profits also set records, as did stock prices. The S&P 500 index rose 166 percent.
  • The number of people lacking health insurance dropped by 15 million. Premiums rose, but more slowly than before.

Going by your definition of TDS, that's YOU people.

Republicans had no platform in the 2020 election other than support Trump
Since the election that he lost and was removed from office, the Republican platform is STILL to support Donald Trump. They have no other platform. None. Nothing else is on the table except Trump. So by YOUR standards, it's Republicans that are consumed with TDS
