ive heard scant few, almost none, of those on the left rightfully criticize the main drivers of BLM for the separatist, racist, victimhood peddling violence inducing, and indefensible position theyve taken on white people and cops. ive heard almost as few bother to condemn antifa for initiating violence, transforming berkeley from the birthplace of free speech to the birthplace of bike locks across the head bc you dont want a conservative speaker on campus. its even in their name - anti-fascist, they are on the opposite side and proud of it

our entire political process was as spineless as it gets. the seas parted and the differences were stark, with a small number of us trying to hold down the reasonable middle like the adults we are supposed to be. it was shocking how childish and stupid we were, making mistakes weve made before, rehashing old offenses like they happened yesterday, allowing our broken media to present skewed images that simply dont represent reality. all of this going on when half the country is teetering on the edge of sanity

and don WAS a republican, or more accurately, the republicans transformed to spineless sheep to support a flaming asshole voodoo witch that intentionally fomented a violent insurrection that put our congresspeople in direct danger just because he chose to slap an R on his lapel. even Moscow Mitch is trying to dial it back, knowing he went WAY over the line. but his sins are engraved in stone and if you believe a word coming out of his mouth youre just not learning from the tragedy of the last four years

the scary truth is that BLM and antifa are part of the looney left. they will rise in prominence again, fucking things up just like before. they are as destructive a force as the crazy dumb fuckers on the right. i still dont think it would take much to spark widespread civil war battles breaking out that are arranged so fast that the police and armed forces cant control them. and the left would bear as much responsibility as the right in that kind of development
