The Bills made a pair of roster moves Tuesday.

The Buffalo Bills made a pair of corresponding moves on their active roster Tuesday, signing offensive lineman Jordan Devey to the 53-man roster for the first time and placing running back Zack Moss on injured reserve.

Moss was hurt in the Wild Card game against the Indianapolis Colts and head coach Sean McDermott told reporters Monday Moss was going to be done for the year. We don’t know the full extent of the ankle injury but it’s not expected to hinder his 2021 season.

Devey was elevated from the practice squad in October as part of the roster rules surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. He played two snaps against the Jets in Buffalo’s 18-10 win. The seven-year veteran, Devey has started 21 games and played in 44 over his career with the New England Patriots, San Francisco 49ers, Kansas City Chiefs, Oakland Raiders, and Bills.

Buffalo protected Devey last week on the practice squad along with fellow lineman Jonnothan Harrison while the Cleveland Browns and Green Bay Packers were both on the lookout for interior offensive linemen. Even the Indianapolis Colts promoted a practice squader for their game against Buffalo.

Replacing Devey on the practice squad was running back Devonta Freeman.
