AFC Playoffs: Buffalo Bills will face the Baltimore Ravens in the divisional round

Lamar Jackson vs Josh Allen in prime time. The league has to be loving it. The Buffalo Bills and Baltimore Ravens will square off in the AFC divisional round next Saturday night at 8:15 p.m. Eastern on NBC.

The Bills beat the Indianapolis Colts on Saturday to secure their spot in the next round of the postseason. The Baltimore Ravens beat the Tennessee Titans on Sunday afternoon. When the sixth-seeded Cleveland Browns beat the Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday night, it punched Cleveland’s ticket to visit the Kansas City Chiefs. That game will be played on Sunday.

The Bills and Ravens played in 2019, with Buffalo’s defense limiting the electric Jackson, who would go on to earn league MVP. While he threw for three touchdowns, Jackson was just 16-of-25 for 145 yards through the air and had 11 carries for 40 yards. It was his lowest combined yardage total of the season, but the Bills weren’t able to put up points. Allen had 146 yards passing and nine yards on the ground.

This is set to be the first playoff night game hosted by the Buffalo Bills in franchise history. The Bills have only ever played two late games in the playoffs, both of which were Super Bowl appearances: Their losses in the 1991 and 1992 seasons.
