Josh's injury and return to form

Recommended Posts

Sorry, bullshit.

Josh’s issues over those 4 weeks were a bunch of mental mistakes.

Missing open receivers, throwing behind people, taking sacks when he could have thrown the ball away, etc.

Nothing to do with an injury.

Well someone who had the injury and plays the QB position thinks differently. Hasselback did say people who say that don't understand mechanics..lol

I do agree something was off and he was hesitant throwing the ball. Could it be he lacked confidence in his throws that he couldn't make in practice during the week? Josh Allen's game isn't always making the correct football play. It's a lot of times throwing to the wrong Wr, missing a read and making plays regardless because he has superior arm talent. A few years from now when the game slows down for him more it may not be as much the case but until then an injury like this will really limit him.

Deciding to take a sack instead of throw the ball has nothing to do with mechanics.

Stepping out of bounds a step too late before throwing, has nothing to do with mechanics.

Not seeing a wide open receiver, has nothing to do with mechanics.

It has a ton to do with mechanics..what an odd thing to say. You don't think he would second guess himself if he couldn't make a throw he normally would make?

I do think his accuracy was shit when the injury was still recent which killed his confidence. Which would cause a lot of those types of missteps.
