More sources saying Jets are trying to trade Williams

Come on Beane, your draft picks are iffy at best, just make the deal.

Unless Quinnen Williams is doing suspect activities off the field, I really can't see the Jets trading him.

However, if they are trading him, he is someone Beane should consider.

While I always love to get MORE draft picks, to increase the odds of getting lucky in the draft, there is value in trading for a current NFL player.  (See trading for Stefon Diggs)

I would rather use our 2nd round pick for Quinnen Williams, than draft Zay Jones.  Or Reggie Ragland.  Or Cody Ford.  Or Cyrus Kouandjio.  Or even AJ Epenesa for that matter.

I just wish Quinnen wasn't within our division, we would have a better shot to get him.

PS I think it would take our 2nd plus a 3rd(?) to get a trade done.

Draft a Running Back in the 2nd?  Add another EDGE or Corner?

We're going to have to massively overpay for the Jets to keep him in the division

I assume we won't overpay.

But, Beane surprised me when he was willing to trade a 1st, 4th, 5th and 6th round pick for Stefon Diggs (and we got back a 7th)
Technically I am calling that a 1st, 4th and 5th for Diggs.

The dude tackled Moss with one hand like it was nothing. I doubt it will happen...but if it does....I approve.

The week of last year's draft there were rumors the Bills loved Williams & were looking to trade up for him.

I wanted Quinnen Williams ahead of Ed Oliver.   Simply because he is a bigger guy.  And plays bigger.

Quinnen Williams

Height:    6 ft 3 in
Weight:    303 lb

Ed Oliver

Height:    6 ft 2 in
Weight:    287 lb
