Current NFL passing yardage leaders

JA is number four on the list with a 5-2 record.  The other four in top five are 6-21-1.   Meanwhile top five rushers are a combined 23-9.  Did the NFL move back to a run to win league just as the Bills got a passing game?

Teams with the lead, and comfortable ones at that, run more.  It's not run first, but being able to control the ball and make plays with the run game still matters.

Agreed, the bills unfortunately cannot do this.  Teams like the KC, TEN, AZ, TB use the pass to set up the run yet they can still run the ball even if the other team knows it’s coming.  If we have a lead our run game will not be able to control the game.  The only part of our run game I count on is if it is less than a yard JA will pick it up.
