This might not be a bad thing. What have any of the TE done this year. More Josh and WRs and less of all the other “skilled” positions on the field is a good thing.

Ed Oliver is my adopt-a-Bill

He could be like Gates... is that the one I'm thinking of that was a WR in a TE's body?

I hope a Duke plays and has a massive day...make McBeane look dumb for wasting a pick on Knox.

Gates was 250 pounds. He was NOT a WR body. He was an athletic TE.

Only that one good game by Croft... followed by that fake interception that Croft caught but got embarrassed on by a little DB...  so yeah, I guess you're right.

Thanks. To me he caught a lot of balls... like a WR but he was big...

He was part of the first wave of modern athletic TEs that are legit threats. Started woth Tony G then Gates, Graham, Kelce witten etc. he was a throwback to OG Kellen Winslow, because the Te position moved from catchers to blockers in the 80s abd 90s.

don’t get me wrong, gates was amazing and is an all time great.
