Maybe if he had come out and clearly stated he would keep the team in Buffalo he would have gotten more love.

Fuck Bon Jovi anyway. That's like saying John Cougar Mellencamp won't come here again. BFD. I'm sure the people of Buffalo are crying in agony over never seeing Bon Jovi again and I bet money, maybe not soon, but he comes here again at some point

Nobody cares. This dude hasn't been relevant since the mid-90s and it was always suspected that he was moving the team to Toronto anyway. Maybe he can try and buy the next team up for sale. This is what he looks like now.

He was moving the team.  His backers were the Eaton Centre Group.  They were limited to a bid of $1.1B or so because by NFL rules the primary owner has to put up 30 or 35% and his net worth was south of $400M.

He'd have kept it here for a couple of years, then said, 'we tried to make it work for the people of Buffalo.  But my choice is no Bills or Toronto Bills'.

Fact.  Book it.

Trump saw a chance to get positive publicity by knocking out this stalking horse and possibly get the Bills for a bargain price.  God had better plans for the Aquarian.
