Our piped in crowd noise was LOWWWW

Recommended Posts

If you’re watching the Dallas game; the crowd noise sounds great! Just like a real game.

In our game, the piped in noise was way too low.

The Brady/Brees bowl game was louder, too

Lol what?

1) The game isn’t in Jerry’s world.

2) The sound doesn’t come from the stadium. It comes from the broadcast booth.

lol

Other games seemed low too, could be NBC SNF production value perhaps they have more mics on the field/in the stands?

edit: saw you said it originates from the broadcast booth, idk then lol

Why can’t they seat fans in the stadium 4 or 5 seats apart? It would still maintain the required social distancing.

I'm hoping it comes to that soon. Teams could probably use the ticket revenue

My favorite “fake crowd noise” moment was when McDermott went for the 4th down and they piped in the ‘crowd clapping in approval’ noise.

lol

And where is the broadcast booth built at Lit....in a brand new fucking stadium with state of the art technology and speakers.  You really think we would have a audio room that compares to Jerry's world?

Once again:

1) No games were in Jerry's world this week. That didn't happen.

2) By the broadcast booth, I meant it's a pre-recorded crowd soundtrack. It has nothing to do with speakers, technology, stadiums, etc. It's just like playing a song on TV. Or hearing the announcers voice. You are NOT hearing what is going on in the stadium. You're hearing a pre-recorded "song" of crowd noise. They didn't put it loud enough for our game.

I can't believe I have to explain such simple concepts to people on this forum.

because it's new york and they lean toward a blue color

KC, Jax had no problem nor the colleges, as wont Miami or Dallas next week and any other team that does it.

The real magic would be if the fan track that was piped in for the game was pre-recorded in previous seasons from that particular stadium where the game is being played.

That's exactly what it is.

NFL Films went to their archives and took the sound from each teams stadium and that's the exact track that plays on TV.

Just too low.

My question is: Do they have a crowd noise DJ that cues the sounds when something good or bad happens and how do I sign up for that gig?

I'm guessing the acoustics are very different from stadium to stadium, when you have to consider where the announcers are sitting and what their microphones are picking up.
