Question for Trump Supporters

Recommended Posts

Well that is a convenient Table. If you look here:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_military_pay

you will see that prior to 2011 the averages were actually higher than Trumps. And during the Obama years, the average was lower than Trumps but the average private pay raise was also lower which puts the numbers on an totally equal level. How convenient that you took the effort to type the numbers and not provide the link ... lol

And I thought only the left provide fake news ... lol

so Trumps greatest deed was that he increased the military pay on the same level (compared to the private sector) than Trump ... rofl

Trump is the Dreaded Iconoclast to the Two-Party Hegemony that has dominated American politics since the reconstruction.  And he broke it from within one of the parties.  That is of the greatest of value.  And both sides cannot stand it.  They've rigged everything and he still won.

And globalist totalitarian socialist myrmidons can't see that.  You believe what you're told and do what you're ordered.

As far as his accomplishments?  Bring manufacturing Back?  Impossible!!  He did it.  Avoid a stupid war?  Impossible!!  He's doing it.

Debate me.  I dare you.  Sadly, you cannot.

Put some ice on that.

You're funny, Topas.  Who do you think you are?  Columbo?   I didn't provide a link to wikipedia because I didn't get my information from there.  I got my information from https://www.dfas.mil .  :niterider:

I wasn't trying to deceive anybody, as you saw for yourself the information is easy to look up.  My point is, after six years of historically low pay raises it was nice to a get a bigger bump in pay.  :niterider:

In my original post I stated that rebuilding the military and giving them a raise was the best thing he did.  Those two accomplishments are important to me because they affected me personally.   If you go ask someone else they may give you a better(or worse) answer.  :niterider:

Well, lets assume for a second that you did not intentionally left out the information about the higher rises earlier than 2011 and also the information about the different pay raises in the private sector, then my argument is still that the raises by Trump are not really higher than the ones from Obama considering the changes in the private sector and the effects especially on the federal budget after the banking/financial crisis years of the 2008 and following. But I understand that the subjective feeling is differently if you receive a higher cheque.

But with regard to "effort the President took to reward the army financially"  you have to consider the private sector and the federal budget and there Trump does not do better than his predecessors IMO.

and damn, you got me. I am Columbo :-)

Donald Trump saved the economy and then raised the military pay to match the private sector.

Obama may not have been hostile or stingy to the military; it may have just been that the economic depression caused by his totalitarian socialist economic policies left him unable to feasibly grant the military a pay raise.'

'Wow, Fanback we thought you specialized in geopolitics.'

'You're a fiscal expert also?'

Bring back manufacturing? On what do you base this statement? Serious question ...

Trump saved the economy? Looking at the stock market long term the economy was repaired long before Trump started ...

Good. So we have an agreement here. Or feel free to detail your opinion. But looking at the Dow and SP500 and Nasdaq ... all recovered prior to Trumps start ...

Sarcasm, my man.  All growth under Obongo was at a snail's pace.

I recognized your sarcasm. I just don’t know what you are basing it on. Because surely not on the stock market ...

That’s impossible because the world didn’t exist before November 2016

BTW, this is a joke because when I was in the army and Reagan was president, he gave us a 4% pay raise, every year.

You are wrong.

President Obama took us out of a financial crisis in 2009. He didn't cause the "depression;" it was already here under President Bush (a Republican, in case you were unaware). Do you remember or were you in grade school?

No YOU are wrong.   Obama' was a failure.  Provide numbers and facts to prove otherwise.

God, I'm debating a six-year old.

We lived through this. It's not ancient history. We were there.

Ever noticed whenever you say something to him that’s so factual that he has no reply, he gives you the barf emoji?
