Gov. Andrew Cuomo Had the Worst Response to the Crisis of Any Governor in America

Cuomo: Latest Coronavirus Cases Are Mostly People Who Stayed Home

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) said Wednesday that most new patients hospitalized with the Chinse coronavirus have largely been sheltering at home, calling the preliminary data “shocking.”

Cuomo said during his daily press briefing that the early findings surveyed 100 New York hospitals involving approximately 1,000 patients. Sixty-six percent of new hospital admissions were patients who virtually remained in their home, while nursing homes ranked second for new admissions at 18 percent.

On Tuesday, 1,700 previously undisclosed deaths at New York nursing homes were reported, bringing the total number of coronavirus deaths in such facilities across the state since March 1 to 4,800. Cuomo has garnered intense criticism over his March 25 directive ordering nursing homes to accept coronavirus patients.

“If you notice, 18% of the people came from nursing homes, less than 1% came from jail or prison, 2% came from the homeless population, 2% from other congregate facilities, but 66% of the people were at home, which is shocking to us,” the governor told reporters.

“This is a surprise. Overwhelmingly, the people were at home,” he added. “We thought maybe they were taking public transportation, and we’ve taken special precautions on public transportation, but actually no, because these people were literally at home.”

Cuomo also said New York’s hospitalization rate continues to drop, but called the progress “painfully slow.” Still, roughly 600 infected people are going to hospitals daily.

As of Wednesday, New York has around 319,000 coronavirus cases and 19,415 deaths.

Small potatoes, it's over one billion served now with the stringent standards set forth by our media whose lies are uncountable. Listening to the MSM takes on these thousands of lies is like getting scolded by the Marquis de Sade for getting a blowjob from your wife.

You reminded me, I plan at some point to make a thread dedicated to the most egregious lies they've done regarding the scamdemic.....such as CBS saying theyre showing a NYC hospital room while showing an Italian one from a week earlier, the fake lines in the war zones that disappeared as soon as the cameras left, the crying nurse on CBS going on about not having a mask who was later exposed as not having worked in a hospital in over a year, etc.

Honestly the ignorant public must be willfully ignorant if they still trust these frauds.  Maybe once Fauci's history of fraud during the aids era when he originally scammed his way to fame is known, people will see that he's doing a very similar routine now.

Nah, after getting booed off the main stage, he'd likely get rotten produce thrown at him to chase him off the 2nd stage age well.  They're reserved for real artists who can rock.  Of course they may still be used to being pelted by the rotten produce over in the UK?....they might still use those stocks in the middle of town square to punish the subversive types like this, maybe?  If not, they'd by wise to get them out of the shed, dust them off, and put them to use.

Of course, I just realized a pig would likely see a barrage of rotten produce as a reward....otherwise known as dinner.

I've been wondering that as well.  If it was his partener a couple of hours south, I'd guess it could be Kramer and Newman's neighbor.

What I do know was I originally saw this on some female's social media account, something with a smaller screen.  Maybe later I can see if I can find that again.  I checked the comments in this one....I didn't find it, though did notice one reply that in opposition to all of the rest, didn't find this significant.  "Live exercise" from Pompeo is a bit easier to excuse, in my sometimes humble opinion.....but who says "preparation drill" in these circumstances?

Think about it, NY State contains the supposed WORLD EPICENTER of it all, without which the economy wouldn't have even an excuse this poor to be molested in such manner.

I think you guys need the new crying nurse, an apparently real one, whose name is known yet still tells of patients routinely dying from preventable mistakes, some of which she says are actually murder in the 2 NYC hospitals she's been in through her employment agency.  MSM newspaper carried a story on the video.

...Yeah, now that Jerry thing is bugging me again too.  Maybe some of our extreme leftist friends on here who suffer from elite educations can help us figure it out?  I've seen Kushner referred to as Jerry, but not in any formal publication that I currently recall.  You may wish to seek cover when I get around to laying into the clowned Prince.  The health of the goyim were not supposed to be part of the dowry your boy gave him along with Ivanka!  You realize things went downhill when the President in law banned Bannon early on during White House move in process, right?  His international dealings are probably not far from the level of legality of the Biden son's, especially in the West Bank settlements where the entire world condemns his actions:  https://newspunch.com/jared-kushner-funding-illegal-israeli-settlements/

Anyhow, if you get any idea who Jerry is before I do, let me know.  Ive been wondering that since I first saw this.  I don't envy you for having to live with this character as your supreme ruler right now.  Andy's not as bad as Whitmer though, I suppose.

Stay-at-home Serial Killer Andrew Cuomo

Well, well, isn’t that special. After yelling at President Trump for not locking down the nation soon enough and the people of New York for not obeying his lockdown edicts, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo admits that most Chinese Wuhan virus infections occur in the very place he, assorted health experts, and the anti-Trump lamestream media insist we should be -- in our homes. And nearly all of those occur to people with preexisting conditions:

Most new Covid-19 hospitalizations in New York state are from people who were staying home and not venturing much outside, a “shocking” finding, Gov. Andrew Cuomo said Wednesday.

The preliminary data was from 100 New York hospitals involving about 1,000 patients, Cuomo said at his daily briefing.

It shows that 66% of new admissions were from people who had largely been sheltering at home. The next highest source of admissions was from nursing homes, 18%.

“If you notice, 18% of the people came from nursing homes, less than 1% came from jail or prison, 2% came from the homeless population, 2% from other congregate facilities, but 66% of the people were at home, which is shocking to us,” Cuomo said.

“This is a surprise: Overwhelmingly, the people were at home,” he added. “We thought maybe they were taking public transportation, and we’ve taken special precautions on public transportation, but actually no, because these people were literally at home.”

They were sheltering in place just as “experts” like Drs. Fauci and Birx and politicians like Andrew Cuomo have been telling us to do, yelling at us to do. This survey also showed that virtually all new cases are from folks with preexisting conditions and those who are in identifiable and vulnerable populations: Just as politicians are releasing prisoners from the confined space and tight quarters of a jail cell, they order us to shut up and sit down in the limited confines of our homes. Sunlight is the best disinfectant but we, particularly the younger, healthier and least vulnerable among us, are not allowed to go outside. We are to shelter in place and die in place:

The information was from a statewide survey of 1,000 patients at 100 New York hospitals. The results are preliminary, but offer a strong picture of who's most at risk.

The study showed that virtually all coronavirus cases, 96 percent, were people who have other health issues; 73 percent of cases were people age 51 or older and in a state that's majority white, a majority of the coronavirus patients are black or Latino.

Remember how Andrew Cuomo yelled at us for disobeying his orders?  By doing so we were endangering lives, including our own:

On Friday, March 20, the Gov. Andrew Cuomo signed the “New York State on PAUSE” executive order mandating that 100% of the state’s non-essential businesses close or have their employees work remotely. Non-essential gatherings, regardless of size, are also barred under the measure….

“When I issued the stay-at-home order, it wasn’t, ‘It would be nice if you did.’ It is a mandate," said Cuomo. “Stay at home. If you’re a non-essential worker, stay at home”

“If you leave the house, you’re exposing yourself to danger. If you leave the house, you’re exposing others to danger. You can leave the house, go home, and infect whoever’s at home. So stay at home,” he continued.

Now Cuomo echoes Captain Louis Renault in the 1942 classic movie Casablanca, who uttered the iconic line, “I am shocked -- shocked -- to find that gambling is going on in here!” Cuomo is shocked, shocked to find his stay-at-home mandate has killed New Yorkers who never left their homes. By staying home, they exposed themselves to danger. Cuomo is also probably shocked, shocked, if he even accepts responsibility, that his administration’s executive order shoveled COVID patients into nursing homes to infect and kill in droves the vulnerable residents inside, even as the hospital ship Comfort was in New York Harbor to receive patients waiting to receive patients, just as was the underutilized converted Javits Center.

New York Post columnist Miranda Devine recently noted that Cuomo is still sending COVID patients into nursing homes, not only failing to protect the most vulnerable but deliberately putting them at risk:

In an interview on "Fox & Friends" with host Ainsley Earhardt, Devine said that COVID-19 patients were transferred back into nursing home facilities because of an order from Cuomo in late March.

"And, it's obscene really that he's not admitting that now. He is still sending them back there and he's acting as if there was no choice. Of course, there was a choice," she remarked, noting that President Trump sent a Navy ship to New York City to assist and the Javits Center was converted into a care facility.

The nursing homes were begging for them not to be sent back, these COVID positive patients from hospitals and it was just impossible for them. They were short-staffed. How could they quarantine these elderly, frail people?" she asked….

"He is still doing it and this is what is so reprehensible. It's one thing to make a mistake in the heat of the moment. It's another to dig your heels in while people are still dying," Devine continued. "I mean, in this last week, we have added another 1,700 that hadn't been counted before to the death toll in nursing homes. So, just stop it. Admit you did wrong and fix it."

Somehow this was never brought up when Chris Cuomo, who violated quarantine rules to visit another property he owned, interviewed brother Andrew. Instead of asking why Andrew herded COVID patients into nursing homes, Chris asked Andrew how he felt being single and eligible again.

Pulitzer Prize-winning columnist for the New York Post Michael Goodwin has no time for such nonsense and notes the callous indifference of Andrew Cuomo as he literally sentences New York seniors to death as they stay in their homes – nursing homes that are unsafe:

On Tuesday, Cuomo was asked about a report from the Associated Press that his team had added more than 1,700 deaths to the count of those who died in nursing homes, bringing the total to at least 4,813.

“I don’t know the details, frankly,” the governor answered, turning to an aide.

Sgt. Schultz reporting for duty!

Cuomo will not take responsibility for this ongoing atrocity and, as he lectures President Trump and the American people on our duties and responsibilities, he is willing to lie about his culpability in the deaths of thousands of the most vulnerable:

“The nursing home has to make the decision,” he said Tuesday. “If they don’t think they can take care of someone, all they have to do is say no.”

In this case, he “knows” something that’s simply not true, according to nursing home executives. The March 25 order that forced infected patients on them allows for no exceptions and has not been changed.

The killer fifth paragraph still reads: “No resident shall be denied re-admission or admission to the NH solely based on a confirmed or suspected diagnosis of COVID-19. NHs are prohibited from requiring a hospitalized resident who is determined medically stable to be tested for COVID-19 prior to admission or readmission.”

Cuomo, the great health care expert and governor extraordinaire, says he didn’t know. But it is the job of this know-it-all who daily lectures the nation and President Trump on what needs to be done to see to the well-being of his people first – particularly the most vulnerable, the ones he ordered to stay home and the ones trapped in nursing homes. He didn’t. He lied and people died.

Totally agree, Cuomo severely dropped the ball on this starting when he wanted to fly in hundreds of people from foreign countries with no quarantine plan in place. Then throw in the fact that he was far short on ventilators and knew about it in 2015 and his $6.1B deficit for 2020 and you have a giant clown in the making.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo Had the Worst Response to the Crisis of Any Governor in America

The press has been gushing about the performance of New York Governor Andrew Cuomo for weeks. The media often compares Cuomo’s “decisive” response to the coronavirus pandemic to the president, and guess who always wins?

Whether it’s good PR from the governor’s office or just the media worshipping a liberal who says mean things about Donald Trump, it hardly matters. What matters is results. And in that department, Andrew Cuomo has been a miserable failure — using several metrics.

And it’s not just the numbers. The panicky, sometimes hysterical New York governor began whining about the federal government (specifically the president) not doing anything to help the states with getting medical supplies. Back in March, he kept saying he needed 30-40,000 ventilators. And when Trump pointed out that was silly, he accused the president of being an unfeeling monster.

National Review:

“I have a feeling that a lot of the numbers that are being said in some areas are just bigger than they’re going to be,” Trump said on March 27. “I don’t believe you need 40,000 or 30,000 ventilators,” he added, referring to Cuomo’s estimate for New York state. Cuomo and New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio and others said they had “facts” on their side.

By the middle of April, New York was sending ventilators to other states.

But the number of deaths in New York from the coronavirus is what condemns Cuomo and marks him as incompetent.

As of yesterday, New York had experienced 18,610 deaths, nearly 30 percent of the total number of deaths out of 64,406 in the United States. Yes, New York has a high population density, but so does California. And the Golden State has twice as many people and only 2,135 deaths.

Even high population density states on the East Coast are doing better than New York. Pennsylvania, for instance, has two-thirds the population of New York and a similar population density (New York’s is 358 people per square mile, Pennsylvania’s 278 per square mile), but the Keystone State only has 2,418 deaths. It’s not population density that’s contributed to the coronavirus tragedy in New York. It’s bad governance.

This is “competence”? This is “decisiveness”?

Cuomo didn’t lock down the state until March 20 — not until there were nearly 3,000 cases of COVID-19 in the state. Nobody recalls Cuomo arguing with New York Mayor Bill de Blasio over who had the authority to close the schools after most major cities had already shuttered the schools. Meanwhile, New Yorkers were getting sick and many eventually died.

Then there are the nursing homes. Yesterday, they found 100 dead bodies in a Brooklyn nursing home. And fingers are pointing at Cuomo’s policies. Former Governor George Pataki made it clear whose fault it was.

New York Post:

Former Gov. George Pataki slammed Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s nursing home policies during the coronavirus pandemic as a “disaster” that may have unnecessarily caused the deaths of “thousands” of vulnerable elderly residents.

In a rare swipe at his successor Friday night, Pataki called for an independent probe “so this never happens again.”

Pataki said the state Health Department should never have issued an edict requiring nursing homes to accept coronavirus virus patients into nursing home facilities filled with sick, elderly patients — the population most at risk from the killer COVID-19 bug.

Cuomo’s order came when he was panicking about a possible lack of hospital beds.

Compounding the misguided policy, Pataki said, is that the nursing homes lacked the personal protective equipment or testing capability to isolate and contain the spread of COVID-19.

Pataki also said he was dumbfounded as to why infected patients were sent to nursing homes instead of “hundreds of unused beds” at the two temporary hospitals at the Javits Center and the Navy’s USNS Comfort hospital ship.

The Navy hospital ship Comfort left the dock this past week after treating few patients.

“Gov. Cuomo’s handling of the nursing homes has been a disaster,” said Pataki.“Thousands of people [sic] lives might not have been lost except for these tragic policies.”

The same might be said of Cuomo’s handling of the entire crisis.

Cuomo’s panicky orders resulted in wasted resources and incompetent management.

Fox News:

In addition to a bevy of state orders, Gov. Andrew Cuomo made desperate overtures to the federal government to step in. In response, and in record time, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers scrambled to erect at least four field hospitals, and the Navy deployed its USNS Comfort hospital ship to Manhattan.

However, those efforts – and the many millions of dollars spent on them – have largely been deemed a waste, even as New York has battled a soaring a death toll and is maintaining stay-at-home orders.

One of those field hospitals in the 2500-bed Javits Center treated about 1,000 patients over the month it was operational.

Maybe it would be a godsend for the Democrats to dump Joe Biden from the ticket and acclaim Andrew Cuomo their nominee for president. The myth of Cuomo’s superior crisis management would be exposed in short order, leading to an easy Trump victory.

The Andy Cuomo's of this world, are the result of the welfare state. If not for the unemployed in major cities, this particular turd would be running and stealing from some union right about now. I'd like to know who he really takes his orders from.

These New Yorkers fleeing coronavirus vow they’ll never return

“I don’t love New York now more than ever. That’s the first time I ever felt that way,” Silverstein says. “Do I in the future rent out my apartment in the city? A lot of work I could do remotely. Where do I want to live?”

Many Gothamites have fled the five boroughs for safer havens — from vacation homes in the Hamptons to parents’ basements in the Midwest — until the coronavirus risks pass. But now diehard New Yorkers, some of whom had never even considered leaving the city before, are thinking about staying away for the long haul.

...

New York City’s largest moving company, Dumbo Moving + Storage, reported that moves were up 11 percent this March compared with last, “which is unusual because people don’t typically move this time of year,” says CEO and founder Lior Rachmany. “The peak moving season begins in May, which is why this increase in moves is strictly due to COVID-19,” adds Rachmany, who is seeing many folks leaving the Upper West Side and West Harlem for less dense outposts both near (Staten Island, Long Island, New Jersey and Connecticut) and far (Massachusetts and Washington, DC).

...

“This is usually the time of year that people get moving on their [suburban] town search,” says Alison Bernstein, founder of Suburban Jungle, a real estate advisory and tech platform that helps families transition out of urban hubs. “But in the last month, we have seen an unprecedented surge. We are close to a 40 percent increase from last year. People are very nervous. They feel stuck.”

...

“I don’t know that I’ll return full-time to the city again,” says King, 49, a cultural coach. “I want to stay in the moment and take everything step by step.”

Okay, I'll play along. What the hell is a cultural coach, and why is it even a thing?

I had to look it up too. Apparently it's another layer of HR but as an outside consultant that makes sure that companies who run diversity agendas have leaders who recognize the cultural differences and work around them. Probably the usual BS, "white man bad, minorities and women good" that I hear at work every day - competence and productivity be damned as we are all numbers on a demographics sheet.

I don't know about you, but I found that rather disturbing(i even took the time to cleanse the quote of it lol).  I was happy just imaging him as that avatar....so were you intent on traumatizing folks? If so, I think on that level I can commend your handiwork.  I know youre not a man of the Bible but youve quoted enough ...nevermind, I looked it up myself.   Psalms 101:3, KJV.  First part at least, if not all.  Yikes man!

Actually, if you scroll uip from that filthy meme, the next picture you see above it bears at least a slight resemblence in my opinion, maybe due to the face he's making.  Then again, I didnt want to look at the meme any longer than I had to, so I'm not sure. :)

If you want to feel better, be grateful you never worked for the government before you were old enough to know better.  Your description of work just evoked flashbacks.  Fortunately I quit right before I was about to become "unfireable" and moved to Hawaii for a bit to help cleanse some of the filth that likely was still on my soul.

If you really want to feel bad though, take your eyes off the micro....take a few steps back and out of the painting and see the big picture, and those things will likely suddenly seem petty compared to the big picture they are a part of the formula for.  I don't even want to get started, but I'm guessing you have an idea being you actually did show the ability to be critical of DJT for at least one thing.

How about the biggest lie of all.............

The Russian collusion delusion.

It started all the way at the top with Obama and the Democrats/leftists/Trump hating morons and MSM are all in on it because they hate Trump so much that they thought they could weaponize the Justice Department and get away with it Scott free. They thought they could destroy anyone associated with Trump and they got caught with their pants down and they know it.

Disgusting. But it's all ok with them because #orangemanbad has to be thrown out of office by any means necessary.

Seriously, someone could by them the cliffnotes version of 1984 for Christmas or Chanukah so they can have a rudimentary understanding of how things work.  Apparently many missed the last couple of decades caught in some sort of mass hypnosis imparted unto them through mediums and channels, and have their default mode set to "parrot" the daily programming.  Our founding fathers would be ashamed of this.  Heck, even I can barely stomach it sometimes.  A man of violence might be inclined to grab them by the shirt and shake them out of their stupor until the eyes actually show some life and they start operating at a level that includes the basics, such as critical thinking ability.

Even the cliff notes version might be too much for some though.  I haven't seen the movie in Sack's sig in awhile(Network, is it?), maybe some secret Santas can buy them a copy of that and a 6 pack if they'll watch it(I'd say the movie version of 1984, but it doesn't do the book justice and even that might require too much cognitive fortitude for some).  I'm not sure how some of you were able to put up with this nonsense for so long.  I get that they are handed talking points in a endless buffet manner to puke back up whenever needed, after they've finished their gluttonous rampage of ingesting toxic filler that originates from sources with limitless funds who are adept at exerting mind control.   I'd normally just plug my nose and ignore it when the regurtitation commences.  Some take a similar strategy with me, even though I don't have those limitless resources pumping out well constructed narrative, so it's rather flattering that they fear discussions with someone simply intent on the truth.

There's a movie version of Brave New World as well, which I think is just as relevant to 1984 in Western Culture if one wishes to understand a fuller picture of the mechanisms of control and deception that are in use. Drugs(like alcohol) and entertainment(sometimes disguised as information, eg "news" or the daily pro-wrestlingesque briefings) can at times be more effective than the iron fist/surveillance techniques used in 1984, so it's wise to be aware how both are used.

For anyone who cares, my simple advice is not to get too attached to any person, group, narrative, anything....other than truth, health, and liberty and possibly those most associated with such.  It's hard to go wrong with those, in my experience.  Of course I benefit from reminders as much as the next guy, as it's not always easy avoiding getting swept away occasionally with the constant floods of BS emotional distractrions that keep the narrative continuously away from whatever the more important matters of the time are.  Verily I tell you these things.  If we keep them in our minds and hearts, the foundation for success and for a clean conscience will be present.
