The Normalizing of Socialist Bernie Sanders *****

Do you think the people that own MSNBC and CNN want a President Bernie Sanders?

Lets see...would j**s want the first (openly) j**ish President?   That's a real head scratcher. SMH  Throw in that he is hardcore leftist like them and it's a bonus.

Fox News was often against Trump during the last campaign(like much of the party, to make him LOOK anti-establishment).  See the pattern yet?  They realize Americans are getting smarter and tired of the same old tired establishment R vs D act after the massive grassroots results from Ron Paul.  Trump and Bernie sure TALK a good "outsider" game, and the media seems content to let them, if not aid them.

The media, both sides, want Bloomberg vs Trump. It's a win win for the establishment. If Bernie wins, these people start paying taxes like the rest of us.

You are aware that large portions of tax dollars end up in the pockets of grifters, aren't you?  The rich are going to stay rich through loopholes, or whatever other way.  It's a put on.

If the media really was scared of Bernie, they would have "Ron Paul"ed or "Tulsi"ed him.

Ever ask yourself why both he and Hillary looked like they were playing pattycake with each other during the debates?

Ever wonder why he didn't say a thing after the DNC rigged the election last time?

If you were an unbiased observer, would you not ask yourself if he actually wanted to win, or if there was another motive for running, possibly even more important?

I might know the shot already, but I'm going to give it more thought before I say anything, if I decide to.  Kids who tell other kids there is no Santa are not always looked upon kindly, lol.

No, I totally agree. 53% is a travesty of the educational system where they've made the long march through institutions and actually convinced a lot of our young population that Socialism can work. It should be 95% of people unwilling to vote in a Socialist since its never worked anywhere and has a death toll that makes Hitler look like an ant hill.

I'm glad I reached somebody.  Not only is it terrible news now, but in the very near future the ever growing majority will embrace it and it will keep moving in that direction.

I agree that the education system is a big part of it, as is all forms of media....and as I previously mentioned, bringing in MILLIONS YEARLY who have NO ties to our Constitution or traditions. I guess I'll be the guy relied on to keep bringing up the pink elephant while there are still enough people awake enough to care.  It's not entirely too late.

Dude, he's not even qualified to debate because he's not taking donations, the ridiculous rule that the DNC is using to decide who can debate and who can't

I'm sure there are better titles and articles, but I didn't want to waste time doing something you can on your own if you wanted.  Search "DNC changes rule for Bloomberg" if you'd like.  He was a good servant(not of the public) in NY, so they don't want to shun him.   They just want to keep people who actually different like Tulsi and Yang out, which many Democrats have said noted online this time around.  If only the media wasn't complicit, things could be so much different.

With Trump’s bailout of the farmers he’s been the most Socialist president in years.

The Republicans are Corporate Socialist and have been first in line when it comes to subsidizing and industry - Oil, Coal, Agriculture, et al. All big beneficiaries of Government handouts.  The Republican expectation is the hand out will trickle down to a benefit for the people and all it does is trickle up.

While some of that may be true, farm subsidies are far from anything new.  I remember Ron Paul maybe a decade ago talking about what a waste the ethanol from corn they put in gas was(sponsored by your tax dollars).   There's been a good amount of socialism for a very long time, and Social Security and other entitlements are the easist examples to note, for people thinking we are somehow voting to keep us free of socialism.  Your point is important though, because most folks today sadly appear ignorant of however many other forms of socialism there are in the US government.  Maybe I will dedicate a thread to that at some point.  I'd give your post a like, but I don't know if your first sentence has been quantifiably verified and I dont want to risk endorsing it if it is wrong.  The point itself is great either way!

It's stunning to watch one of the biggest supporters of a now-labelled Conservative Socialist bitching about Socialism

You're right, they changed the rule specifically for him(to quote SeanDelevan, "Must be nice"), and he still didn't make the cut.  Maybe next time, though....it's still VERY early.

The guy reminds me of some of the things TDSers liked to paint Trump as.  I mean this guy is litertally rich enough to do it all himself without any grassroots support.  I wonder how many who used to flame Trump as being proviliged will hypocritically support this guy, or at least give him a free pass for his wealth?  It's sad when you get to choose between the person who can literally buy their way to the top, and the puppets of lobbies, all of which are merely .

I actually agree with you that some of the signatures are over the top, but be grateful you haven't seem some of the worst.  I remember when Lit lost a bet to a Fins fan, and with each of his very many posts, we were forced to see a photo of Ricky Williams that managed to look like gay porn....so much so, that after many months the only thing that finally rid the board of it was somebody's boss getitng angry thinking that he was looking at gay porn, lol!!!!!

The real irony is that early in the process, before the bulk of candidates had even thrown their hats in the ring, a few of the Trumpsters on here - the real TDS'ers - were saying BLoomberg would be the one Democrat they would like, if he ran.

You usually interrogate them about things, so did you find out WHY?  His commercials that I saw during streamed football and what not did seem to make him come across as mainstream.

Actually, to Sack's credit, before even *I* donated to Tulsi, he said she was the most decent of them all(his actual words might have been less flattering toward the rest).  I saw a Tulsi sticker yesterday.  Where I am I don't see many of the candidates in the debates with bumper stickers on cars, other than Bernie.

Speaking of wires, it can be helpful to remember our brains aren't all wired the same.  At times I'd love to be more neat, but it isn't usuaully my strong suit.

I think if more people undertstood the birthing process of a thought, we might be a bit more understanding of each other in general.

When the media doesn't pump you, youre social media isn't going to be as busy either.  She posted plenty, including videos/commercials, etc.

You probably remember that besides Hillary's televised defamation that she's suing, she is also suing Satan...aka "google" for "coincidentally" banning something of hers at the exact time she was the #1 most searched candidate during the first debate.  You'd be naive to think that by now the powers that be don't have a fairly decent control of social media.  The same folks that have the oligopoly on traditional media have it with social media as well.  It get's a bit beyond coindicidence to the thinking man.

Whatever happened to Tulsi wasn't nearly as bad as what happened to Ron Paul(a guy I guarantee would have drawn votes from both establishment parties on here, as well as other groups).  He literally won Iowa in 2012, and they didn't give it(the momentum more importantly than the delegates) to him until 5 months later(among many more crimes against his campaign....the Democratic candidates aren't the only ones being screwed by the establishment, and I'm guessing you wouldn't mind hearing about the RNC cheating for stooges like Romney and McCain).  Does anyone seriously think either one of those really were the choice of Republicans?

It reminds me of Buffalo in a lot of ways. The people are friendly, outgoing and the city is progressive and growing and turning run down areas into vibrant neighborhoods. It's the fastest growing market in the US. There's no shortage of things to do. For the Arnold Schwarzenegger Annual Body Building Competition, he actually shows up. Rock on the Range, or whatever it's called now is an amazing annual music festival. Homegrown restaurants are every where (BIG fan to Tee Jay's). And the historic districts like Germantown Village are just so cool.

Outside of Columbus, the rolling hills and deep woods remind me of the area south of Buffalo. I've not had one bad experience in the 2 years I've been coming here, regularly.

If my kids' mother ever finishes drinking herself to death, this is where I'm headed!

Agreed on Google being Satan, along with FB, Instagram, Twitter and everything else that is actively using our online data against us

LOL.  Really?  Dream on, brah.
