Actually the President was incorrect in this tweet. There were 18 witnesses with one of the testimonies still kept secret by Adam Schiff for some reason. This was the one by Michael Atkinson and even Trump's own team still have not been allowed access to it. Can you give us any reason why?

I will give him the answer soon enough. Hint: It has something to do with the Javelin missiles.

Or it's classified. Just that simple. However, the entire Bi-partisan intelligence committee HAS seen his testimony. That's both sides. And still doesn't change the bottom line. Trump is guilty

No actually because it reveals his connection to the "whistleblower," that the "whistleblower" (who is from the NSC) has been watching everything Trump does and passing it on to Schiff for analysis of possible impeachment angles, and that an earlier scheme to tie Ukrainian non-cooperation of prosecution of Manafort in exchange for Javelin missiles (which never came to fruition) was an earlier test run for the current impeachment scam we are watching now. Also, Schiff hired two NSC aides Abigail Grace and Sean Misko to be on his team to get inside information into what Trump is doing and they are connected to the "whistleblower." The testimony is classified because they want to hide the identity of the "whistleblower" so they can keep him in place.

Maybe do some real research next time?

One of the problems that your side has, is this infatuation with the whistle blower and how it all went down. It doesn’t matter. The bottom line is what was revealed. Not how it was revealed.

it’s like this ridiculous comment you guys keep making about how the aid eventually was sent. And I use the robbing a bank symbolism. If you hand a bank teller a note that says you’re robbing the bank but then you take the note back and you end up not robbing the bank, you’ve still committed a crime.

It’s just another example of how Trump supporters avoid the bottom line

Actually how it went down IS a serious issue since we have unelected personnel with policy disagreements undermining both the Executive Branch and the voters who elected him. Considering the fact that nothing illegal was done now we have these same bureaucrats throwing wrenches in the gears of government for the sole purpose of removing someone that they don't approve of and it's costing taxpayer money it becomes even more serious. As you said, the aid was sent and to compound that Ukraine had no idea that this payment plan was ever held up and it's not the first time by any President that such an action has occurred and we have a giant nothingburger. Robbing a bank IS a crime, holding up an aid payment (that was sent BEFORE the deadline by the way) is not. Sorry, we win, you lose and that's the bottom line.

First of all, just because Ukraine didn’t know at the time that the aid was being held up doesn’t make it right. I don’t know where you would get that asinine idea. Second of all, I don’t understand how you could bring up an elected person now trying to affect policy without mentioning Rudy Giuliani.

Well once again you make no argument. So we have what you think is a crime with no victims and even the victims are saying they weren't coerced in anyway and this is not the first time in history that a payment was a delayed. Then you take a shot a Giuliani acting on the President's behalf when civilians gathering information for the President to make policy decisions is nothing new under the sun. Hell, even the Democrats used a civilian, Christopher Steele, to push through a bunch of horseshit that actually contributed to the impeachment that's dying tomorrow. You sound like Adam Schiff now, all talk and no substance.

So if Guiliani was acting on Trump's behalf and Rudy is NOT a member of the State Department, then Rudy is conducting personal business for Trump in having a foreign country investigate his political opponent. Cool that you FINALLY see the light.

Maybe you can play another video of Bolton talking about policy while he was still National Security Adviser and pass it off as evidence of, ..something.I dunno what, but something that won't mean shit

And what Giuliani is doing is wrong how? He is there to investigate corruption in Ukraine regarding Burisma and Hunter Biden, if Joe is wrapped up in it, well... that's what he gets for using his VP position in a quid pro quo way.

Is there at the behest of Donald Trump. Not on official state business but on personal business.  The personal business of his clients. Donald Trump. That’s what this is all about. Donald Trump seeking personal gain. Regardless, Trump and his supporters have been holding a pillow over the face of democracy for three years now and today will be the day that democracy dies in America.

And in the future when your grandchildren look back at the record of things that you did online, try to explain it to them when they ask you what the fuck was wrong with you?

I might argue that Trump has lost more than he's gained from this and should be offered some form of restitution after this fails tonight. The political rival argument is dead since Crazy Joe didn't run until after investigations had begun and his buddy Poroshenko got booted from office. And well you're argument about Trump holding a pillow over democracy doesn't hold weight either.

Trump is not the guy calling for the abolishment of the Electoral College, wiping out the 2nd Amendment, stealing from taxpayers to funnel off to non-citizens, and having your 1st Amendment rights violated and suppressed by an electronic tech valley cabal. Those are the other guys.

And my future grandkids? Hopefully they'll look at a picture of me in my old uniform and say "God bless Grandpa Sackman, they don't make guys as tough and smart as him anymore! That's when men were men in a world full of soyboys."

I found it quit odd, well not really, that Crazy Joe Biden as a Senator during the Clinton impeachment sent a memo out to his fellow Democrats agreeing with the prevailing opinion of the defense for Donald Trump.  Well, that was then and this is now, right?  Chuckie Schumer was not going along this time like he did at the Clinton trial.  It's being called the Bidden Doctrine.  LOL

Politico reported on Thursday that Biden, at the time a long-serving U.S. Senator from Delaware, penned a memo to his congressional colleagues ahead of Clinton’s impeachment trial in January 1999. In the memo, Biden argued that the Senate was not constitutionally required to hold an actual trial to examine Clinton’s alleged misdeeds.

“The Senate may dismiss articles of impeachment without holding a full trial or taking new evidence,” Biden wrote. “Put another way, the Constitution does not impose on the Senate the duty to hold a trial.”

Biden, who chaired the Senate Judiciary Committee throughout the late 1980s and early 1990s, cited both historical and institutional precedent within the four-page memo. He also disputed the need for the Senate to call additional witnesses, claiming the “benefit … is not great enough to outweigh the public costs,” including the damage to national prestige and public institutions.

“In a number of previous impeachment trials, the Senate has reached the judgment that its constitutional role as a sole trier of impeachments does not require it to take new evidence or hear live witness testimony,” Biden wrote.

The views outlined in the memo are at odds with the stance congressional Democrats have taken toward the impeachment of President Donald Trump.

In recent weeks, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and other members of his caucus have demanded that additional witnesses be called. Democrats contend that the only way to clear or convict Trump is to get testimony from senior White House officials. Included on the Democrats’ list of desired witnesses are former National Security Advisor John Bolton and acting chief of staff Mick Mulvaney.

Republicans, on the other hand, have responded that since the impeachment charges stem from Trump’s suggestion that Ukraine look into Hunter Biden’s work with Burisma Holdings, it would only be fair for the former vice president and his son to be added to the list.
