Scouting Bills College Prospects - UpComing All Star Games

Recommended Posts

The 95th East-West Shrine All Star Week starts Monday Jan 13th, with the game Saturday Jan 18th.   https://www.shrinegame.com/

Typically these college Seniors are drafted in the 4th-7th round.   It has been a little watered down over the last few years because so many Juniors leave for the NFL early, they aren't around to play in this Senior All Star Game.

The Senior Bowl starts Monday Jan 20th, with the game Saturday 25th.  https://www.seniorbowl.com/accepted-invites/

mmmm, Reese's.  Man I used to love those as a kid before I realized how unhealthy most mainstream(processed) candy/food was.  Did remind me I was planning to cook, though.

SIDEBAR:   The last couple of year's I  have questioned why the Senior Bowl (they are not part of the NFL) has gone with Reese's as their main sponsor.  Although maybe it is a tough sell to find a sponsor.  After all it is one game, played once a year at the end of January.  So how much marketing benefit does Reese's get for sponsoring the game?

Maybe next year they can get NETFLIX or RING DOORBELL to sponsor the game....

Day 1 EAST

@ShrineBowl Monday Practice Notes
The Draft Network

standout on defense goes to UCF CB Nevelle Clarke. Breaks on the ball fast, decisive and with authority. Intercepted a pass that was batted into the air. Good concentration

Day 1 EAST practice just wrapped

one of my early favorites here is Rhode Island WR Aaron Parker. Showed "late hands" on deep route, did not tip off DB that pass was incoming. Some great catches 2day

SCOUTING NOTES:

On the offensive line front, I was impressed with Buffalo’s Evin Ksiezarczyk. He’s a mammoth blocker who controls opponents once he gets his hands on them. Though I grade him as a right tackle, he did a solid job all day on the left side.

WR Mason Kinsey from Berry College doesn't look like a Division III player - He runs terrific routes and catches the ball very well.

Very impressed with West Georgia DT Auzoyah Alufohai. Looks really strong and has been tough to handle.

Baylor’s DT Bravvion Roy has been another defensive lineman tough to stop. He has shown some incredible power.

Day 3 - Tony Pauline Wide Receiver Notes:

Excellent showings from several EAST receivers

Today was the first practice for the Clemson players and Diondre Overton made it count. He made a spectacular grab in the endzone, showing great balance and body control to high point the ball from the defender.

Wide receiver Isaiah Wright continued his momentum from yesterday, and once again Mason Kinsey could not be covered. Keith Gavin of Florida State and Freddie Swain of Florida drew high praise from scouts as well.

This was probably the best practice of the week for Aaron Parker of Rhode Island. He made several big grabs in contested situations and really looked like he belonged.

West wideouts completed an all-around great day at the position

Several receivers stood out for the West, none more so than Nick Westbrook. He displayed strong, dependable hands, effectively came away with the over the shoulder reception in the deep field and consistently won out for contested grabs. Speed and quickness are still a major concerns. John Hightower caught the ball well and earned the praise of scouts, while  Johnathon Johnson’s route running once again was so precise, opponents could not cover him.

Diondre Overton, Isaiah Wright, Mason Kinsey, Keith Gavin, Freddie Swain, Aaron Parker,  Nick Westbrook, John Hightower, Johnathon Johnson

One would think this nation has no problems, if the media wants various groups like us to fixate on our hobbies this hardcore for the entire year, just saying.   A line from "Gladiator" explained how this works, and it is outlined in The Protocols and also in Brave New World.

No offense to the OP,  but I figured my country deserved some "service", though I don't expect anyone to thank me for it being I didn't invade anyone's country.

Some players that flashed in the E-W Shrine Game on Jan 18th....(and remember those players that stand out get drafted 4th-7th round)

WR Binjimen Victor, Ohio State 6'4"     Victor is coming off a senior season that saw him post career-highs in catches (35) and yardage (573) while also scoring six touchdowns. Victor made a couple of catches during the game but the one that best showed off his skills was a 36-yard touchdown off a flea-flicker.

RB Rico Dowdle, South Carolina    He looked like the most explosive and shifty player out on the field. He found ways to break off big runs and showed a knack for finding space and making the most of each of his runs.  Dowdle’s best run came on a 30-yard scamper that saw him quickly identify the hole and attack it while getting outside.

Kendall Coleman, DE, Syracuse:

Mctelvin Agim, DT, Arkansas:

Jon Runyan, OL, Michigan:

RB Benny LeMay Wins Offensive MVP - Charlotte running back Benny LeMay was named the offensive MVP with 80 yards and two touchdowns on 16 carries.

Illinois State safety Luther Kirk earned defensive MVP honors with the contest's only interception.
