Does Allen know he is allowed to throw the ball away?

That sack he took on 3rd down was a back breaker. He had a shot to throw it away. I don't know why he didn't. It was obvious nothing was gonna happen down the field. Just throw it out of the back of the end zone. Live to fight another down.

Yep.

Just throw it through the back of the endzone. It’s only 10 yards away...

He needs a WR that he knows can escape coverage and get separation. when he holds too long, I imagine the WRs have ran their routes, do any of them try to improvise past that and get open where he can see them? Just curious.
