Bill Belichick playing chess while everyone else plays checkers

It’s raining and snowing in NE today so Belichick sends full out blitzes on punt returns, to put pressure on their punter who is holding the ball. Blocked punt.

He then pulls his wings off the gunners on a punt, which forces Dallas’s gunners to quickly pull into the formation at the last moment, but that motion results in an illegal formation which costs Dallas 20 yards.

Then when NE is punting, he leaves little protection for his punter and sends several gunners down the field to attack Dallas’s punt returners, resulting in issues fielding the ball.

He was just toying with them.

Jerry Jones was fuming after the game, saying that Belichick coached his team for the weather and basically insinuated that’s Garrett didn’t.

I love this stuff.

Teams need to hire smart men. Not just football men.

What role, if any, do you think Ernie Adams plays in all of this?

It’s not just the weather.  Pats have been doing this same stuff on special teams all year.  Do any of the other teams study the tape?  Look at the KOs into the wind that would always land at the 10, but Dallas would have the returner in the end zone.  The Pats are very predictable in offense too.

The Garrett move of opting to kick a field goal down 13-6 was absolutely stupid.  I couldn’t even picture Jauron doing it.

He’s an absolute lame duck coach

He needs a game-day assistant, just like McD.

No "game day" assistant is going to help this team.  It sucks beyond repair.

I put a spell on you.

Such a stupid narrative. 20 years in a copy cat league but no one can figure him out or beat him? So dumb.

Coaches work for him, under his system. Then get other jobs ,but can't beat him for 20 years?

People will believe  anything  these days.

The man behind the curtain.

Report: NFL tells Cowboys two tripping penalties were bad calls: The two plays were among those the Cowboys sent to the league for clarification Monday, and the NFL said officials should not have called either, Clarence Hill of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.

The entire NFL community has informed the Cowboys that their coach is a pussy and should have gone for the TD instead of kicking a field goal and that his special teams coach had no idea how to handle the Pats special teams game plan.  Onto the Bills next but I loved to see Jerry Jones commentary after the game.  He didn't seem to be blaming the refs, but that's just how I read his comments?

Of course he wasn't blaming the refs, he would be considered a whiner and get fined.

Dallas had a nice drive going at the end and that BS penalty was very timely to assure the Pats get the win.

Ding Ding Ding, this right here.

Since Brady began playing under center, the Patriots sure seem to be getting a shit ton of help from the league. But when questioned, it's always just a bad call that seemed to go there way. Coincidence? When the Patriots start losing games because of bad calls by the officials, I might believe that.

To those that aren't paying attention, BS penalties (help from the league) can make a good head coach look light years ahead of all the other coaches.
