For this Sunday?

Seriously.....anyone pumped? I’m not.

Browns game was and still is deflating.

Every season has a turning point...good or bad...and this game was it.

Until the Bills are eliminated from playoff contention I will look forward to Sunday.  I am pessimistically optimistic that we can get to 10-6.  What I want to see against the Fish is something we have not done all year.  I want us to blow them the fuck out and beat em by 6 or 7 touchowns.  I want Barkley in the game but only because the Bills are so far ahead that playing Allen would only risk injury.  Miami is one of the shittiest teams in the league.  I want us to beat the crap out of them and then the Broncos.

Well, the year we made the playoffs, it was the Saints then Chargers game...still made the playoffs, best moment as a Bills fan in years...

Those loses were WAY worse than the Cle loss...

Touché

but

how many times have the Bills been expected to blow out a team this year and throw up on themselves?

Maybe it’s because the Bills are a bottom feeder team themselves with an inflated record.

There is a reason there is a Bills banner in my office, but they have to earn the Kelly Jersey.  I am a Bills fan, but the Bills have to win (no matter how ugly they do it) for me to wear their garb.  I am so tired of them playing to the level of their opponents.  Its not healthy.  New England does not do this.  Nor does Baltimore or any other contender.

I've lost my pump already.  My Bills fandom needs some viagra. :niterider:

I saw this one video that I want McDermott to check out.  It says that if he stops Daboll from clogging up the Bills  that our pleasure as fans will be a lot longer lasting and bigger too. . . .

Lol. Same. I have a home and an away custom Bills jersey. Been in my closet for 10 years now. Almost busted them out to wear during the playoff game but I didn’t want the stench of a loss be on them so in the closet they stayed..and it looks like they will stay in there for another 10 years....

A Bills fan could have gone into a coma in 2000, just woke up, and be shocked that he had not missed a thing!!! HAHAHAHA

I nominate this post of the month, maybe more. Seriously, seriously it encapsulates everything of importance in one sentence. An indie film maker could possibly do well with that concept. -StraightJ 10/7/12

I have some enthusiasm but I wouldn't say I'm super pumped.

I have the feeling we're going to destroy Miami but no I'm not really that excited about it.

Every week I see the teams in our rear view mirror get closer and closer.

But we haven't been 7-3 since 1999 so there's that to look forward to.

I'm confident we will be 8-3 and people will be pumped.

The deflation is going to be when shortly there after we are 8-5, get curb stomped by Pittsburgh and limp our way to 9-7.

If by not playing to the level of your opponent you mean get blown out than yes, Baltimore got blown out by Cleveland and didn’t play to their level.  So crying and enjoy the win, lament the losses.

After a Bills loss I always want the Bills to play the next day.  I'm ready to win these next 2 games.

Josh hits on a deep ball this week, I guarantee it.

Excited ?

No. Worried ?

Yes.

Unless we absolutely annihilate the fish nothing good really comes out of this game. If we barely get by them all the talk will once again be about how bad we are that we barely beat a 2 win team. If they beat us well then we deserve everything we get. So unless we completely dominate from start to finish (and even then I can see the negative nancies dismissing it) this week is very dangerous to this team.

i am excited for the opposite reason.  I want it to take the horrible taste of the Cleveland game away.

However, like Vic Said I am worried it's going to turn the bad taste into throwing up.    This could very well be another loss.

Although Vegas making us 6.5 favs is easing that a bit.     Another dummy line like last week.  Money will be on the fish which means Bills probably romp.

Sin is nothing to celebrate, have pride in, or hold parades for. The rainbow is a symbol of promise not a symbol of depravity.

Even if the Bills had the ability to blow somebody out McD wouldn't allow it 16-10 is where he is comfortable.

Id honestly be surprised if the Bills beat the Fins down here. The gutted Fins have won 2 in a row. Their coach is very familiar with and knows how to beat the Bills.

The Bills coaches don't know how to win. The team just doesn't have the edge. Teams like Pittsburgh and Carolina are getting it done with back up Qbs... The Bills are in purgatory.

It's possible. This has been a very strange year league-wide. I mean, look at the Titans. Has anyone really figured them out yet? Are the good, or do they suck? It's kind of week to week.

Heading into this Sunday, am I excited? No. I'm intrigued. The Dolphins have shown signs of life. The Bills seem to be running into more solid competition and have not proven up to the challenge. I'm interested to see how the Bills match up this week. This will be the tell, for me anyway--the litmus test for this team. I'm nervous in a bad way. That's not the same as excited, right?

No, this is all in good fun...I would never say this to your face...well, okay, but I'd say it with a smile
