Midway through the 2019 fantasy football season and playoff seeding is starting to come into the picture. Or perhaps you need a miracle to comeback.

A little pre-game scouting could be the difference between leaving that huge game on the bench and accidentally starting a bust. We’re here to provide a little insight.

Here are five potential sleepers from your bench to start and five starters to sit during Week 7 of fantasy football:

Starts

RB Frank Gore

This could just as easily be rookie rusher Devin Singletary. He’s potentially returning from a hamstring injury with the Bills coming off a bye, but even when he was in the lineup, Frank Gore was taking the the higher number of touches. Plus there’s proof in the veteran-rusher pudding. Last week the Dolphins’ woeful run defense, and overall team, allowed 118 yards to the Redkins’ Adrian Peterson.

WR Golden Tate

The Giants have a good matchup against the Cardinals this week. Daniel Jones is not facing a defense as good as the Patriots’ secondary in Arizona, so he should be able to get Golden Tate, who still had 102 yards and a score against the Pats, the ball more. But also factoring in is the potential returns of running back Saquon Barkley and tight end Evan Engram. One or both of them will take attention away from Tate, giving him easier opportunities, one would think.
