2019 Bills opponents: Ravens, Browns make trades with Rams

Recommended Posts

There were a flurry of trades mad in the NFL early this week, and it’s not even the Oct. 29 trade deadline yet.

All of the moves center around former Jaguars corner Jalen Ramsey. The All-Pro is now a member of the Rams.

Having mentioned Ramsey, his deal does not affect the Bills much at all. But from that deal, the Bills will feel the impact.

The deal directly connected to the Bills and Ramsey is the trade the Ravens made with the Rams. Essentially to make room for Ramsey on their roster as the No. 1 corner, the Rams shipped out former All-Pro corner Marcus Peters to the Ravens, who will now face the Bills in Week 14 when the Ravens visit New Era Field.

Ravens Wire says that Peters will jump near the top of Baltimore’s depth chart to help assist a pass defense ranked No. 25 (269.5 yards allowed per game).

While both former All-Pros, Ramsey is certainly the one players at a higher level currently. In that deal, the Ravens sent linebacker Kenny Young and a fifth-round pick to the Rams to make room him.

In a second move for the Rams, they sent another fifth-round pick to the Browns for center Austin Corbett.

Corbett was a former No. 33 overall pick, the first pick in the second round. He underwhelmed in his career, but was a key depth piece for the Browns on the interior of their offensive line, according to Browns Wire.

The Bills face the Browns in Week 10 in Cleveland.
