Report: Jay Z is very close to purchasing "significant" ownership stake in an NFL team

Recommended Posts

Weird.

Not really. The guy is richer than sin, and I just posted an article that said why he was the perfect guy to partner up with the NFL. He's constantly dropping illuminati symbols like he is some poweful cat, and I reckon this would make that seem more legit. Cerainly no less weird than Bon Jovi, especially with his new Super Bowl haltime deal. Hopefully T Pegs isnt someone he has his target on, or it wont be Bieber you will have to worry about replacing Shout anymore, lol.

Not anything new. Didn't the Dolphins sell a bunch of ownership stake to people like Marc Anthony, Gloria Estefan, Serena Williams, and J Lo? I was under the impression that their shares weren't enough to have a real say but to at least give the team an air of celebrity appeal.

So I read an article about it, and it's quite interesting in my opinion.

Eric Reid is bitter about it, so seems to be the writer of the article, and check the replies below the article...WOW. They are ripping on Jay Z...the article basically calls him Judas(and "black Republican", in a insulting manner)....and the first few comments below the article say much worse... The AA community appears to really dislike the fellow, or at least a segment does. I was not aware of that at all.

Jay claims he spoke with Kaep, but Kaep's girlfriend says otherwise, and Kaep wont comment. Granted you could say it's not about Kaep, but it is if you claim youre doing it for what he represented and you're riding his coat tails when you didn't sacrifice anything, in my opinion....so I can see why some folks feel like they do.

I'd laugh if it was the Bills and T Pegs let Jay finally replace Shout. :)

Jay Z was rich before his first rap album (which was incredible) ever hit. He straight up went from a rich drug kingpin to a richer rap star to a bazillionaire entertainment mogul. When people talk about "going legit" after a life of crime, Jay Z is the first thing that comes to mind. He legitimately turned a profitable drug dealing empire into a billion legitimate dollars.

The amazing thing is that he did all that with no rapping talent! Good for him.

...shall be the whole of the law. Love is the law. Love under Will. Jay apparently has studied great masters that helped him manifest his Will.

You can be straight G, or you can be straight Jay.

He really isn't that good. But the first album anyway, Reasonable Doubt, is pretty ridiculous. It has that whole New York 1940s mafia / Frank Sinatra vibe about it. It really is a killer album from start to finish. Whoever produced the beats deserved an award for it.
