The Dolphins are releasing a lot of players....do we want any.....are they tanking?

News keeps coming out of Miami that (rumored) another one of their players are going to be released. They have virtually no Cap Space and need to dump salaries.

 

The latest is Left Guard, Josh Sitton (age 32) who missed most of this past season with a torn rotator. FYI he is a 4-time Pro Bowler. Could he come to Buffalo like Richie did and have a few good years with the Bills?

 

 

** going with an older OL addition isn't my first choice, but we need to upgrade our offensive line. I don't care how we get it done. Maybe sign a guy like Sitton AND draft a guard. Your rookie guard gets a chance to redshirt or battle for the starting RG position **

 

 

The Dolphins are rumored to be also releasing Robert Quinn (age 28), who had 6.5 sacks last year. Plus they will probably cut Andre Branch.

 

And, it sounds like they will release WR Danny Amendola, not to mention Ryan Tannehill.

 

Miami's RT Ja'Wuan James is headed to Free Agency. Maybe some of the moves above allow them to have the money to resign James. If not, James is in play too.

Some team should just flat out tank. QBs can take 15 years to find. Dolphins should not publicly tank, but I am sure the owner could suggest starting Rob Johnson instead of Doug Flutie to help the cause. (oh wait, we weren't trying to tank).

 

Dolphins should go with Nate Peterman as their starter. That should get them to 3-13, or worse. Tank done.

I'm guessing he'll get more. It's hard to find good line play, and he was a beast prior yonhis injury.
