I dont want neither Oliver nor Simmons. Oliver has an injury history and it’s been documented that he may be a bit undersized to be an effective DT in the NFL. Simmons is a woman beater. No thanks.

Buffalo

Bills

TJonah Williams

6'5" | 301 lbs

Alabama

With the 9th overall pick in our 2019 NFL mock draft, we project the Buffalo Bills to take T Jonah Williams. He would join a T unit in Buffalo that includes the 32nd ranked Dion Dawkins as well as the 127th ranked Conor Mcdermott. The Bills are rich in long term depth at the starting T position, so with Williams, they draft the best player available.

Alternate Picks

DT Christian Wilkins, Clemson

DT Rashan Gary, Michigan

9. Buffalo Bills

Ed Oliver, DT, Houston. Kyle Williams is retiring and Oliver, considered a top-5 pick during the college season, would be a steal here. There are questions about his size, and whether he can hold up over a 16-game season, but he's consistently disruptive in both the run and pass game.

Greg Little, OT, Ole Miss

Buffalo needs weapons at WR and RB, and now need a big man in the middle of their defense. They will need to wait and pick those guys up in the next few rounds, as they first and foremost need to protect their QB. There are two elite offensive tackles in this draft, and unless they really love one of the guys that could be available in the next round, this could be one of the more obvious picks in the drafT.

9. Buffalo Bills

N’Keal Harry, WR, Arizona State

Tough choice between protecting your QB and taking an OT at this spot, or grabbing the best WR in the draft to give him an outlet. Allen is a big boy…

9. BUFFALO BILLS – JEFFERY SIMMONS, DI, MISSISSIPPI STATE

Simmons has one of the best combinations of run-stopping and pass-rushing ability in the draft, and he posted back-to-back elite grades over the last two years. Look beyond his four sacks in 2018, Simmons is one of the most difficult players to block in the draft class.

9) Bills - Jonah Williams | OT | Alabama - Losing Kyle Williams will assuredly impact this defense, so I could see the Bills snatching up Ed Oliver here. However, protecting Josh Allen has to be paramount for this team. Williams has proven to be the nation's best Olineman and is too good to not get the nod.

. Buffalo Bills: Cody Ford, OT, Oklahoma

Although some would argue Ole Miss left tackle Greg Little over Ford, the Oklahoma blocker might be a better fit for Buffalo. Ford is more natural on the right side, which would allow the Bills to keep 2017 second-round pick Dion Dawkins on the left side.

9. Buffalo Bills: N’Keal Harry, WR, Arizona State

Josh Allen showed some promise in his rookie season despite poor talent around him. Now it’s time to find him a No. 1 receiver. N’Keal Harry has the size (6-4, 216 pounds) and hands to make tough 50-50 grabs, especially in the red zone. Previous picks: Harry (1.0, 1.1, 1.2)

9: Buffalo Bills — Marquise Brown, WR, Oklahoma | Get Josh Allen some help, and give the Bills some semblance of a playmaker down the field. Brown can run around, and Buffalo has to improve its offense.

Buffalo Bills – D.K. Metcalf, WR, Ole Miss

Josh Allen needs weapons and Metcalf is the best WR prospect to come out in the last few years. He’s a big-bodied receiver with legitimate field stretching capabilities. He is exactly the type of receiver the Bills should surround Josh Allen with. Injuries need to check out for DK, but he is well worth a top 10 pick if the medicals are cleared.

9. D.K. Metcalf, WR Ole Miss

alt pick: David Edwards, OT Wisconsin

The Bills are a fun team to mock for right now. They need help at every offensive position outside of QB, and considering how strong defense is at the top, they should have their pick of almost every top offensive option in this class. This pick really came down to impact for me. David Edwards will probably be a very good OT, and that’s helpful. But if Metcalf is healthy and reaches his full potential, he could be one of the most physically dominant WRs to come out in a few years. The Bills showed last year that they are willing to take a chance on exceptional physical ability (Josh Allen) over a solid football player (Rosen) and I think they make the same calculation here with Metcalf.

Hakeem Butler won’t go that early I don’t think. I would love to pick him up on day two Though.
