1. If Gordon can stay on the field he'll get the catches. I like Landry but he'll get the Woods like looks if those two are on the field. Gordon will get the Watkins like numbers. If they have a speed guy in the slot he might not get a ton of catches but if he can take the top off a defense he'll make some big plays.
 2. If they score 400 points next year I don't think they'll give a shit. BTW Even missing 5 games between them Sammy and Woods still put up 1,600 yards 12TD's and over 100 catches. That's the only year they were even near healthy and they had Hogan behind them. We haven't had 3 decent healthy receivers, or even two for that matter, since then. Landry and Gordon could actually do pretty well. Cleveland plays defense they'll have a chance at the playoffs next year just like we did. Difference being if they're smart they'll still take a QB at 1 or 4 to possibly be the "franchise guy". Here we are currently with nothing but thoughts and prayers.
 3. To the best of my memory without looking up a bunch of stuff I always remember the key ingredients being knocking Brady on his ass and running the ball well enough to run the clock. Granted the Eagles didn't really do either of those predominantly but typically that's how someone beat the Pats. I don't think the Pats brought thier best defense this year. They had a lot of problems early and seemed to have it fixed but there was no answer when Hightower went down they weren't the same. I think they missed Collins and his LB cover skills a lot.
 4. The crazy thing is that Cleveland had him. He took them to the playoffs and then what one bad season? If they had kept him and drafted the right QB who knows?
 5. IM0 the best bit of info I've seen all night. It appears that every former Cleveland offensive coordinator is really good once they leave Cleveland. http://www.espn.com/blog/cleveland-browns/post/_/id/11125/browns-new-offensive-coordinator-will-be-sixth-in-six-years

[TH] Year [/TH] [TH] Offensive coordinator [/TH]

1999 Chris Palmer*

2000 Pete Carmichael

2001-03 Bruce Arians

2004 Terry Robiskie**

2005-06 Maurice Carthon

2006 Jeff Davidson

2007-08 Rob Chudzinski

2009-10 Brian Daboll

2011 Pat Shurmur*

2012 Brad Childress

2013 Norv Turner

2014 Kyle Shanahan

2015 To be determined

6. The thing I didn't like about the Clay call was that the shot they were using to make the call was far enough away that the edge of the field and the shoe can't be clearly distinguished. If he had been called out that's one thing but again call on the field was that he was in.
 7. Taylor's best throws have been deep passes and every time Watkins was out it was noticeable and then they traded him away. That said don't sleep on Taylor to Thompson. We need everyone hopefully KB is good to go also.
 8. Games we gave up 25 or more: Rex 8 games 8 loses McDermott 5 games 4 loses Rex's defense played bad in most games. McDermott's defense played really bad but only in a few games. 0n offense Lynn>Dennison about sums it up.
 9. Do you only read one post at a time and reply? If so you should maybe look at a few more posts before you post something stupid. "Quit being dumbs" says the guy about the one QB that has us in the playoffs this century. Were you born yesterday? Did you interupt Madden on your playstation long enough make this post. Just finish up throwing for 400 yards in a video game? I can't take any Bill's fan seriously if they don't appreciate what Tyrod has done. End of story. Talk about drafting another QB to compete. I get that. QB of the future I don't know and I've said as much but if you can't appreciate what he's done then you either haven't been here the last 17 years or you don't understand what bad is.
 10. I love Shady but sometime s he is really east and west when he should be a little more north and south. That was why Gillislee was a nice one two punch. I thought Murphy looked good.
 11. Another shining example. I have to believe you simply just do not understand. We have a QB that almost threw for 3,000 yards and manages roughly 20 TD's and yet only turns the ball over 5 times in a season. Who the hell is he even throwing to. We don't have a Julio Jones. There's no AJ Green here. KB is playing on one leg and I think he's only been available for 2 or 3 games Taylor played. We bench him and the next guy in turns the ball over 5 times in one half. People just don't get it.
 12. but look at how many yards he threw for .......... he must be awesome!
 13. I really have to believe many posters never lived through the years of truly horrible QB play here or they would realize Taylor is pretty good. In an era where we have to play Brady twice a year I can see why people want a Brady but the reality is we are lucky to have Tyrod. Keep looking for Rogers or Brady, that's fine but we should be grateful to have a QB that can make plays and protects the football. All we need to do is run the football and play defense and we haven't even consistently run the football this year. Defense has been pretty bad at times also.
