  • How long have you been a Buffalo fan?
    Since 1972
  1. It's being widely reported Byrd's asking price has dropped to $8 Million a year. We know the Bills offered him more than that.
  2. What Jairus Byrd wants is to not play for the Buffalo Bills. At some point we have to move on.
  3. Signing Mark Sanchez would be an open admission they wasted a draft pick on E.J. Manuel.
  4. Byrd is going to be a free agent for all of about five minutes before another team signs him to a huge contract. You can bullshit some of the people some of the time but not most of the Bills fans most of the time. We've been here, done this, got the Stupid GM Move Of The Year Award, wash, rinse, repeat.
  5. Michael Vick is terrible. He hasn't been a decent quarterback in three seasons. Or longer. He can't run anymore and his accuracy is even worse than it used to be. There are so many better options I can't even begin to list them all here. I don't know if that's some kind of gimmick to try to put fans in the seats but it's a bad idea.
  6. Jairus Byrd will get grossly overpaid by some dumb GM and will under-perform for the length of the contract. Not to mention, he doesn't want to be a Buffalo Bills player, so let the door hit him in his ass on the way out.
  7. Simple question: Can you title a thread so people know what it's about without having to open it? Simple answer to the question: No. Byrd isn't worth $8.3MM and they won't franchise tag him again next year because of the 144% rule. They could draft four players who suck harder than Barbara Doll. One has to be a damned fool to be happy over a draft. Now, if they draft four players who all turn out to be reliable starters or better that's another story. But there's no way of knowing that during the draft. That can take two seasons to know.
  8. No. Twelve touchdowns in thirty-three games is a red zone threat?
  9. Teams don't use top ten draft picks on right tackles. They use them on left tackles. If a top ten pick becomes a right tackle it means the team grossly over-valued the prospect when they drafted him.
  10. The Hall Of Shame game is football like Rosie O'Donnell is a beauty queen. Bunch of fools trying not to get hurt. It's not meaningful football.
  11. Let's not be pedantic pedagogues. Typos happen. Spelling errors happen. There's a good discussion here. Or there could be.
  12. None of the top six will. Oher's a turnstile so I'd think they'd pass on him. Maybe Beadles or Schwartz.
  13. It's going to be Dustin Hopkins because they spent a draft pick on him. The only way it's not Dustin Hopkins is if he's physically unable to kick the ball. Then they'll give him an injury settlement and move on to Dan Carpenter or another option.
