  1. AVERAGE LAS VEGAS TEMPERATURES MONTH HIGH LOW January 58° F (14° C) 34° F (1° C) February 63° F (17° C) 39° F (4° C) March 69° F (21° C) 44° F (7° C) April 78° F (26° C) 51° F (11° C) May 88° F (31° C) 60° F (16° C) June 100° F (38° C) 69° F (21° C) July 106° F (41° C) 74° F (23° C) August 103° F (39° C) 74° F (23° C) September 95° F (35° C) 66° F (19° C) October 82° F (28° C) 54° F (12° C) November 67° F (19° C) 43° F (6° C) December 58° F (14° C) 34° F (1° C) Vegas doesn't get much rain, but football season weather is tolerable.
  2. I heard that the Raiders new stadium is behind schedule. They are having problems with the retractable roof.
  3. They already do it with Golden Knights games to an extent. Raiders fans have a bit of a reputation, so it will be interesting to see how this whole thing goes. People are paying a stupid amount of money to get season tickets. Another problem with the stadium is that they haven't built out the roads to accommodate for all the traffic yet, and I haven't even heard of the roads being in design. I still think they should have moved the Chargers to Vegas instead.
  4. I drive past the stadium everyday on my way to and from work. There isn't much parking at the stadium, so there will be 4 satellite parking lots with shuttles to the stadium. They are also going to close one of the streets that go from the Strip over I-15 to allow pedestrian traffic. The were better places to build that stadium in town, but none of them were adjacent to the Strip. The field is on tracks, similar to the stadium in Phoenix. There were some flaws in the design in Phoenix, and they supposedly improved upon them for this field. UNLV is also going to share the stadium with the Raiders and also got a new practice facility. They have been bad for a while and fired their coach. It isn't much of a football program, but they are trying.
  5. Some talking head on sports radio this morning said that Baker Mayfield is basically Johnny Manziel if Manziel wasn't an alcoholic. He went on to point out that in 16 NFL games, Mayfield has only beat 1 team with a winning record. He was the first guy from the national media I've heard trash Mayfield.
  6. I'm not a bot. I just don't post here as much as I used to. You can blame the drama and political discussion for that. Plus, I usually spend more time in the Sabres section. My username kind of came from a coworker. I thought of a really wise ass comment, and he knew it. Before I could say it, he said "Oh, there is the grin."
  7. Antonio Brown will be dead cap hits of $5.5M in 2019 & $4.5M in 2020 for the Patriots. https://www.nbcsports.com/boston/patriots/antonio-brown-will-continue-count-against-patriots-cap-space?int
  8. I saw about 10 min of the 4th quarter of one of the Week 1 games. That was enough for me.
  9. I remember seeing a mock draft from that year which had the Bills taking either him, Nassib, or Mike Glennon in the 1st round. Glennon went in the 3rd, Nassib and Barkley went in the 4th. That's why I only read early mock drafts to get familiar with the names.
  10. Bills +14. O/U 44. I've lived in Las Vegas for 15 years now and never have bet on sports. If I were heading to the sports book, I'd probably take the Pats and the Over on this one.
  11. I was thinking about this the other day. The Bills management seems to be trying to re-create everything they had in Carolina. Its funny that they go as far as drafting two early round QBs in consecutive years.

  13. Hold on...There is a chance the Bills could win 2 games? It would be nice not to go 0-16.
  14. Now I understand why NFL Network was broadcasting flag football games during the off-season.
