To answer the original post, yes there are ways we could lose. If Josh Allen and this offense don't take a huge step forward, we won't win it. Its going to take a lot more than 16 pts a game to win the east. If our defensive line replacements don't live up to expectations, we can be in for some long games. Daboll still hasn't proven he knows what he's doing as far as play calling. Diggs may throw Allen under the wagon if he isn't fed enough. On paper, it should be the Bills as favorites, but let's not fool ourselves, the Bills can find ways to lose.

Depends on what you'd have to give up in the trade. We're pretty set with corners, I wouldn't want to pay too much. He'd be a luxury not a need.

Josh Allen needs to take another step in his development. The o line still needs more talent. If Diggs is all in, we'll have really good weapons on offense. I think the d line will be deeper, we still need LB help, but no worse than last year. And our DB's could be the envy of the league. The healthier we stay the better. All this needs to happen, if it does, the division is ours for a while.

Even if we do win the east, everyone will all say it's only because Brady left. This team won't get the credit it deserves without a deep playoff run.

I agree with you about the o line. Hopefully a starter quality RT is available with our 2nd or 3rd round picks. Move Ford to RG and Ty back to swing tackle. I think our line would look a lot better than last year.

This is my main issue with the trade. Our starting 3 wr's are 6' and under. Josh Allen's number 1 issue is accuracy. So the Bills brain trust surrounds him with small wr's? Allen has to be especially accurate to be affective now. I want a Calvin Johnson type that can go up and catch 50-50 balls that aren't going to be dead on target. Smurfs......

Diggs was unhappy with his contract that's why he was traded. He's going to want a bigger deal. Count me in as thinking he's the same as John Brown. Hate that we gave up our 1st.

Fa doesn't officially begin until Wednesday. The smartest and best players aren't agreeing to new contracts yet, they want FA to play out and have a chance to listen to as many offers as possible.

He will have a better front 7 in front of him here, he'll be the number 2, not number 1. Safe, team friendly prove it deal. If he stays healthy, should be good for the Bills. Hopefully getting cut and ultimately signing a team friendly deal with Buffalo will humble him enough to want to put in the work.

No, he's old and has injury history. At best he'd be our number 2. As a 2 or even 3, he'd need to play special teams. I don't think he has that much left in the tank. I'm not arguing guys are not open. I even buy the players not executing. My problem is that Daboll continues with the same play calling even well after certain things obviously aren't working. If the players can't execute certain plays, then for the love of God, call a play they can execute. Singletary was severely underused and Josh Allen continues to throw. At what point do you go with what is working? How many missed throws before you abandon the passing game? Daboll isn't putting his players in a position to succeed if he's constantly calling plays that his players can not consistently execute.
