Just a quick thought...

As soon as we recovered the fumbled KO, I thought "this is over." I would have been nice to get some more third downs when we were pounding the rock in the second half, which did give Indy more oxygen than I would have liked, but I didn't have an incredibly uneasy feeling down the stretch. They'll learn better how to suck out completely the oxygen from games and thoroughly demoralize the opponent. Mongol General: Hao! Dai ye! We won again! This is good, but what is best in life? Mongol: The open steppe, fleet horse, falcons at your wrist, and the wind in your hair. Mongol General: Wrong! Conan! What is best in life? Conan: Crush your enemies. See them driven before you. Hear the lamentations of their women. Mongol General: That is good! That is good. -
It seems like most NFL head coaches and staffs have no idea of the definition of marginal productivity. That 16th hour at the stadium doesn't do anything for you. It hurts. It's like cramming for an exam. Works for some, but bad in general. Remember the Jets game last year in Detroit? The team was rested all week and the coaches probably were too. I know, anecdotal, but I think these staffs would be far happier and more productive with some semblance of a real life during the week and some pressure to prioritize strategy and tactics.

That and a couple clutch third down throws to Clay, down the middle, and Woods on the sideline. I love the way he stands in the pocket and he absolutely throws darts, just like in that documentary. -

My comment on that was a bit mitigated. Yes, all his scrambles were justified. But there were 1-2 runs where he got into traffic amidst a bunch of big bodies and I thought "dude's gonna get crushed." He's good at avoiding big hits and he did absolutely take some intelligent slides. My opinion is I'm Monday Morning Quarterbacking a small point in an overall A+ performance. I've liked him, like most Bills fans, since midway through preseason, and think the kid can be special. Sunday absolutely justified that and more. -

That was a bit of a heart-stopper. Heads-up play to bat it down. Kid is very, very smart. -

As soon as Tyrod threw the first swing pass to Shady, in stride, I thought "we haven't seen touch like that in a long, long time." Kid is cool in the pocket. A bit happy with the feet at times, but very impressive from the pocket. The look-off on the Harvin TD was really impressive.
